Just saw this article from the December 7th Rockford Register. The IL attorney general's office is warning people about these guys:

Call about changing electric utility provider, but they never identify themselves. It is a SCAM.

On the do not call list, yet receive a call every afternoon, sometimes from 5553, caller ID says Client Service. Reported to donotcall.gov and will now try to block. Super annoying!

Sleazy company pretending to be offering opportunity to get government sponsored reduction on energy bill. Their roborecorded caller calls us constantly, even though all family members are on the "do not call" list. Stayed on the line after their droid call and was asked to give them info from my current energy bill. When her to identify the company, the woman said to "call back when I had the bill in front of me" and rudely hung up. Of course they gave me NO phone number to call, and since they called me, I had to call *69 to get the number. When you call this number you get no company name, no ID, no possible way to connect with a human, all you get is a recorded message about punching # to opt out of future calls...they probably do nothing to stop their frequent calls. VERY sleazy company.

I get a call every other day from this number. They will not leave a voice mail. I finally dialed that number and a recording says If you want to place your phone number on our do not call list, just press 9. I did and let's see if it works.
