Apparently some elderly Oriental lady, I believe one respondent said Soo Young Lee, filled out an internet query for info on Medicare Supplement Insurance, and she fat-fingered her phone number and then many different companies began calling me.  It's slowed down now but the above number just called, rang twice then hung up before the answering machine picked up. QWEST caller ID just said it was "Illinois".   A coworker told me telemarketers have machines which dial about 5 numbers at a time, and if someone picks up right away, the remaining 4 hang up.  He had gone so far as to get the phone company to set a phone trap, and file the paper work for telephone harassment for frequent hang-up phone calls, and it turned out to be the local Sheriff's department off-duty officers doing volunteer work for a charity.  But that's another story...

One of the health care companies left a message on my answering machine to Ms. Lee that he'd received an email from her requesting information in writing, and he explained they don't work that way, everything is done over the phone.  That's a dead give-away right there.  A reputable company would be willing to mail info and let the customer (and younger relatives) take time to review and shop around for something that may cost a lot of money.

I also filled out information related to health care rates, not knowing that the information would be passed around and everybody would be calling. This has been going on for about a month now. When I did answer the call from 312-470-1784 they just hung up...what's the point!?

It's from Go Health.  I filled out a form for health insurance quotes and now they will not stop calling.

Make it stop! 6 Calls in the past day make it stop!

This is Go Health. They call if you filled out health insurance from them or from a place that does multi quotes.

This number has been calling my phone 3-10 times daily for the last 2 weeks!!! I want to tear my hair out over this harassment. Someone needs to put a stop to these people. My husband and I both told them to stop calling but they won't! GO Health Insurance is the company, they are a SCAM!!

They keep calling but does not leave a message.  The Caller Id says MCI Metro

I get calls from this number daily, and they never leave messages and I am always at work when they call so I never pick it up. Very annoying.

Why am I getting calls from this number?  When I answer no one is there.
