SO glad to find this. These guys have been calling me all day. I work from home so this is seriously annoying. They ask for a Dave Someone and when I say they have the wrong number they sit there silently and then hang up. I got through one time when I called them back - the guy laughed at me and hung up. Since then, I've gotten the Magic Jack subscriber message. Oddly, no requests for information and they aren't identifying themselves as payday lenders.

I received calls from 2 numbers:

Man with an Indian accent called me today about a Payday Advance Loan.  This is the third call I've received from them and each time the number is different on my caller ID.  Each time I've told them that I'm on the National Do-Not-Call list and I've told them to add me to their Do-Not-Call list and to stop calling me.  This time, the man laughed, said that he loved me and then started to talk sexually to me.  I threatened to call the police and hung up.  The call is coming from a Magic Jack and I'm sure they have hundreds of them so he will probably keep calling me.

I contacted my cell phone provider and they blocked the numbers that these people have already called from but I have a feeling it won't end here.  I filed a complaint with the FCC as well.  I can change my number if necessary, but I have family and friends who need to be able to contact me and I don't want to have to call them all to let them know my number changed.  I can't turn my cell phone off either, because my mother has Life Alert and if she pushes her button in the middle of the night they need to be able to contact me.  My son was a preemie so he has therapists who call from different numbers all of the time so it will be difficult to screen my phone calls during the day.  I am so mad at these a**holes that I sincerely hope they get caught and that they get charged with criminal use of communication because they are harassing so many people.

After MONTHS of calls from a scam number, I finally decided to confront caller & ask them to stop.  Guy says OK.
Within minutes I start getting calls from a different number.  Same guy.
REALLY?!?  Who has time for this!  I run business from this number & am obliged to answer out of town calls.  Must I ignore all calls from unfamiliar numbers?  Damn these callers!

This Guy Calling is Indian using A Magic Jack saying he will give a Loan $500 with 2.0% interest.
Asking for Routing number its a Scam they will take $87 out of your Bank in Scam you Watch out!!!

I live in utah and there is a scam going around. Please dont answer calls u dont know. When answered it sounds like sex noises or someone being hurt. Anyways. They charge ur bill $25 a minute. Thought i would let u all know.

These low life bottom feeders are in business for one thing and one thing only.  To separate you from your money illegally through deception and outright fraud.  How they can continue to get away with these practices is beyond me... but they do and are apparently very successful at it.  If convicted in their own countries of such practices, these lice would likely be beheaded, which would be welcome Karma.

Keep getting calls from this number also 5+ all day long today I answered it and told them that this is a company phone and to quit calling it or I would call the FCC and report them and hung up. Less than 10 min. later they called again and someone ask if this is not my phone I said that it is a company phone to quit calling and said goodbye . So far in a half hour later they haven't called back we'll see as I hope it worked. The FCC should be able to follow these #'s and catch these crooks and kick them out of our country  or put them in prison.

Scam artists attempting to collect bank account information.  Usually have an Indian accent and become verbally abusive/taunt you when you ask them to remove your number from their list.  Also calls from 936-333-5642. They will not stop calling until someone makes them stop.  Take 10 minutes and report harassment to the FCC.

Scam artists attempting to collect bank information from unsuspecting victims.  Callers usually have an Indian accent and if questioned will laugh and taunt there is "nothing you can do about it" after they refuse to remove your number from their list.  Callers report that they are phoning from Pakistan.  Same individuals also known to call from 936-333-5642.  Callers will become verbally abusive and inappropriate over the phone.   These criminals have been using the same telephone numbers for months.  If you experience harassment from these people take 10 minutes to report it with the FCC.

I STARTED TO CALL THEM BACK 30 TO 40 TIMES DAILY AND LEAVING THEM 12MIN MESSAGES AND CALL THEM EVERY NAME IN THE BOOK. THEY ARE SCAMERS DONT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!

I have received 6+ calls from this # 3124739828 and when I answer no one says anything nor do I hear any background noise. I reported them to Verizon Wireless and also blocked them however the same # is still getting through their block. This is so annoying and I do not want to change my #.

I want these calls stopped. They burn up my minutes.

Call 10x a day asking for Jennifer Simmons. They say she or I have been approved for a $5,000 loan to be paid off in installments.  The only info that they need is birth date, ss # , ck account info...really. Payday loan scam.

All Indian dudes that barely speak english trying to sell me something usually a loan of some kind. They wont remove me from any lists, they just hang up when they realize im not biting on their pitch.

They call me at least twice a day asking about a loan.. and looking for "Mary" and every time I have told them I am not and she is not at this number!

This person calls my house all day and half of the evening. This needs to stop. I work at night and have to sleep in the day
they do not say anything sometimes and at other times they ask for someone that does not live here nor have I ever heard
of them. So basically what I would like to know is there anything anyone can do about this to stop the harassing calls.

Received a dozen calls to my business line from this call center asking for "Sandra", i informed them that nobody by that name works for us and to please remove our number from their database. They said OK 3-4 times, but calls continued to come in. At one point i was on the phone with one of the agents and another called in at the same time!

You can tell its a call center by the hum of voices in the background.

I asked who was calling and what the business name was and i got different answers every time. Through a thick accident, i made out "American Financial Services" of what the agent said, but that is probably rubbish.

It sucks because i pay a flat rate for each of these unwanted call attempts in to my business's toll free number, and they've hit my voicemail system many times over the weekend which counts as a call.

These people call me repeatedly about an approved loan.  I have asked them to take me off their list; I do not want any loans.  They are scam artists.

The common denominator is we've all probably applied for either a credit card or a payday loan. Most of the shady payday loan sites are just sharing your number for pennies to whoever wants it. I learned this the hard way.

If you have an Iphone you block the calls by going to your Recent call list.  On the right side of the number
is an exclamation mark in a circle, press this.  Scroll down to the bottom and push "Block This Number".
Works like a charm.  If its a land line, report the calls to the telephone company, tell them your being
harassed and ask for the calls to be blocked.

I am in California, its 6:30am & they just called me. When I answered they hung up, had I not been awake and not at work already Id be pretty pissed off they called so early, not that I'm not pissed but it would have been worse. Now blocking the # through Verizon

These people keeps calling me none stop. The calls start at 8:30 am and calls every 15 minutes. I told them they are nothing but scam and the man told me I was a fool and that's why they are scam me. They have cuss me out. Please help me ! I have gone crazy over these idiots and loss a lot of sleep and causing problems with my job.. Thank you!

there are several ways to limited or sometimes stop these calls, complain on different forms 1800notes, whocallsme, who calls us, pissed consumer etc, and fcc but good luck finding the idiots cause they hide behind voip and spoofed numbers. you can also complain to the police department that is from caller id and to the communication company that they rode in on. shame works wonders also do not give them the time of day and get rude right back to them.

heavily accented man called me a few minutes ago, asked for my husband, i told him i was his sister and what was this about, so he told me that my husband wanted a loan, i told him he had not applied for a loan, then he proceeded to tell me i was sexy, and "oh, my god you talk with your brother?" when he proceeded to say i was sexy, etc i told him we were not interested and that i knew he was a scammer, and then came right here to the post. the caller id says chicago ill and i thought it was friends of mine that live near/in chicago area so i answered it. BIG MISTAKE.

This is NOT the company...They are using this information. I just facebook these numbers out my friends, and email them out there and once people what kind of compnay it is they have a lot of fun wiht them. This idiot here thought I was playin when I said I just gave his number out to 2000 people.... He quickly learned I wasn't.

They keep calling between 5:30 and 6:00AM. They have told not to call. I called the number back and got a recording asking to leave a message. I sure did.
