I take out a 5000 loan an they took 12,000 from me every time they told me to go to wal mart to buy money pak cards I buy 12,000 thousand worth of cards and they want me to pay 3,000 thousand more and I did and I never received the loan.

Just do what I did. Call him back non-stop for 2 1/2 hours and read him the bible from front to back. I had him begging to give me my number so he could take me off their list by the end.

I have gotten so many calls today from this number and the 916-282-6934 plus a 512 & 521 area code all stating about a payday loan I took out.  Finally the last time they called I asked them what they wanted with my 5 year old daughter.  They said she took out a loan.  I asked them if this was real to please fax the information to my husbands business which happens to be the sheriff's office. they hung up.  I know they will keep trying with another number as I blocked the last three numbers.  I can only block 5 numbers every 90 days I don't know how many numbers they have but I hope not many more.

Scam.  How too get rid of these freaks.  After I answer and they ask for whoever, I reply with, " This conversation is being recorded.  Do you wish to continue? "  They will usually hang up right away or not say anything more.  If they don't hang up and just sit there in silence I set the phone down and let it tie up their line until they do hang up.  Works for me.

Just got a call from this number. The think that bothers me, other than they keep calling, this is my work cell and they have my name.
I also received a call from 916.282.6934. Looks like another # that they are using.
Seems like every day I go in and block new numbers but they just start using another.

Keep getting calls from out of state and this is one of them. They won't leave a message.

Called to tell me my loan was approved and had my email address too. They never messages, and when I called back an hour later to see who would answer the phone, a recording from Verizon stated that the number had been disconnected.

This is a number that has been soliciting me also so I am going to report them to the BBB.

I signs up for a free service called Nomorobo.com. Basically when my phone rings it also rings at Nomorobo. Their software detects robo calls and hangs up. It doesn't keep the phone from ringing but it only rings a couple of times. Since I got this the volumn of calls has lightened. Sadly the a***oles at this 312 # hasn't figured it out yet.

This kind of calls come from scammers or robot dialers.  If you answer, or call back, your name and number goes into a pool that gets sold to more scammers and bots.  
If you don't recognize the number, don't answer. If the caller has legitimate business with you, they will leave a message.  If not, block the number.
There's no rule or law that requires you to answer a phone that is ringing.  

Got about 150 calls from yesterday and today, I got so sick of it that I called the number back every minute until finally he answered and asked what I wanted, guess they don't like a taste of their own medacine

i have reported him to the sheriff department.  i told him i had a tracker on my phone.  he said track me b%&ch.  then calls back and says FU repeatedly.  this is getting old... going on 1 wk now.

I've have received 12 calls today.  One of the guys, Jason...not!...told me he loved me deeper than the ocean and high as the sky!  Really?  I have been on the do not call list and I have re-upped on the do not call list!  Does that thing even work?

Call them back and do not say anything. Do it over and over back to back. They call from different numbers 312.473.9841 and 866.269.0790. For a bit of fun call both from a different phone, put them on speaker and let them talk to each other, if you need to wait until you get someone on the other line just pretend you want a loan they will talk to you for that! They speak the same language when they speak to each other. I got the same 2 guys every time. If you do this at some point they block your number or something. Since I did this I have not received any calls back.

These idiots called on Thanksgiving. Officially blocked.

They claimed to be debt collectors, very hostile when you ask them questions. They just keep on calling!
The called ID Text has displayed cities from all over the country. One in Texas, Illinois, Florida, and Goergia so far.

Whoever said that they have nothing personal is incorrect.  Just google this number and you see a variety of complaints on different websites about this number.  You will see that on a number of times they have called saying vulgar and sexually inappropriate things.  It's not about "pissing them off".  I actually was refusing to answer this number even though it was calling me 30+ times per day until they called at 6 am and woke me up.  Ignoring them does no good.  You do have to block them.

Have received 2 calls from this number today.  I have quit answering my phone, as it started ringing this morning at 6:14am.  So far, 10 calls today from various numbers...yesterday had 44 calls!!  This is annoying and they are jamming my phone with back to back calls!

The calls are from India - your on your own. They get your number from CL or any place on the net. They have nothing personal unless you piss them off. They are looking for dumb. They see Americans as idiots who should give them money. They look at any number of scams. If you change your number they have a few dozen more. The reason there is no answer is because a computer calls thousands of random numbers they bought or stole in a data base. If someone answers they route the call to an operator in India and they pretend to be a loan company or whatever might convoke you to give them money. These people are sociopaths who lie and have no emotions that allow them to be hurt. Block them. Call them, beat your head against the wall it hardly matters. They are taking advantage of a new system. Don't answer calls unless you know who it is. Something will give soon but keep your chin up  

Stop calling

OMG! I've had more than 20 calls from some of the same numbers (a total of 8 different ones!) It seems to be the same Indian dude and sometimes an almost unintelligible girl, offering a loan. Interestingly, they ask for my husband (on MY phone). I think they've either hacked or somehow obtained phone records. I might start by contacting my phone company. We have 5 phones on this bill, but they seem to be only focused on my number.

Payday loan help.

I didn't bother to answer it (I never answer when I don't recognize the number, and my outgoing voice mail message states that so that others will know to leave a message), but it seems to be one of a number of numbers from different area codes, calling all day (they started about 6am) to scam/harass me.  I just add them to a bogus contact, set the ringtone to silent and turn off the vibration.  This saves me tons of headaches.

In my experience, they give up after a couple of weeks or so.  No point in continuing once they realize I'm serious about not answering.  

I have received entirely too many of these calls and repeatedly ask them to stop and remove my name and number from their list.  However, they continue to call using several different numbers.  
How can they be stopped?  I am on a no call list!

Same as everyone above. They guy called my wife's phone like 30 times today, finally i got on the line with him, and he just kept saying all types of vulgar things. I believe it is a scammer just like spam email, trying to offer a loan to get your info. I don't think it is a legit company, so i don't think the FCC, FTC or BBB can do anything. However maybe the FBI or someone should get this guy for scamming and harassing people, should be easy enough for them to track him down.
