Called my work and asked for the owner which is no longer living. I told them that. Then he asked if we took credit cards. I told him that we are not a normal business(Geocomposites-a plant) then he asked if I took checks. I told him again that we were not a normal business. He said he needed to know how my boss would pay us. Then he said he would call a different business.

They just call and hang up, this # is also associated with 216-839-2146. Something like a credit card scam....just immediately block the # to avoid further disturbance. LOL

Young lady called and referenced a fraud case by name where no monies were ever recovered by my husband and his mother (now dead) who were ripped off. She had both of their names though she had some trouble with pronunciation. She mentioned something about fraud recovery. I said that the lawyers took all the money there was to be had and sent people to their death over the worry of it all. One lady only had her car left as an asset and needed it to work. The lawyers wanted that. The lawyers LEGALLY took money from destitute people who, up until the scam was discovered, were living on the interest of their investment of life savings into what was a ponzie scheme. The scammer put all the money in his pocket and bled his relatives for more to pay investors their interest. This so-called interest is what the lawyers, with the court's blessing, managed to scrape from the pockets of the now twice robbed victims. I didn't know if it was a phishing call or not but I was really furious and said, "We don't want blood money." And the girl was flustered and hung up. She never did identify herself but I see that the number is that same as above. What is their game?

I work at a busy local community center (which is City owned and opperated) and almost daily (sometimes more than once a day too) I get a phone call from this number, but once I have stated my name and place of business they hang up.  It sounds like I am one of the lucky ones.

Call during business hours. Asked if we took credit cards. When answered yes, asked who they needed to talk to to help with our credit card processing fees. When told to call our corp office in TX, asked how many locations we had. When told 500+, ha-ha'd and asked if he was calling u-haul and hung up.
Called back & heard recording, hit 2 to be placed on the do not call list & left recorded msg for someone to "call me back".

I have a home business and get extremely annoyed when I run to get the phone and no one is there...I no longer answer it when BluePay is listed as the caller. I just pick it up and slam it down....really though - if you want to sell me something ..TALK!!!! I wish companies like this could be fined for being a public nuisance.

Was it a business line of yours that was called? If so, such lines don't apply to the DNC list, even though you can submit them to the list. Check with the Federal Trade Commission if you don't believe me.

Business lines do not apply to the DNC list. You can add them, but it will not prevent them from being called. You probably don't believe me, so check with the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov and it will confirm what I've said.

I just got a call from this company asking if we accepted credit calls and have gotten others in the past from them as well. The caller ID says "Bluepay" which not coincidentally is the payment ID for the Blue Cross payment systems, which tricks you into taking the call. I am happy that now I know who the actual caller may be, but have to figure out how to get them to stop calling.

Just got a call from some chumbucket asking if we accept credit cards.  As soon as I started to tell him to remove my number from their calling list, he hung up.  All the caller ID said was Bluepay.

I got my first call today from 312-506-3688, my caller ID  shows a number and Bluepay, the phone only rung 1 time and they did not leave message, I am registered on national do not call list, must be another SCAM!!!!  whats the point of calling if you are not going to leave a message?  I report all unwanted calls to the national do not call registry at 888-382-1222 and will also report it to the FTC at
877-382-4357, I think the only way the DNC law has any hope of being effective is if we all take the time
to report every single unwanted call. good luck to everybody.

Wishes to know if company has credit cards.  I've blacklisted them in our PBX, forever more when they call they will get 3 tone SIT and "number not in service" message.  I encourage all businesses with their own PBX to do the same to these information-fishers.

Just got a call from "Bluepay" asking if I accept credit cards. This is a private residence that has a nonpublished number...but, when we got the number from Qwest 5 years ago, we learned pretty quickly that it was the old number of a defunct business in town. Although we only get a few calls for the business by name every few months now, we get lots of scam calls like this...maybe they are getting the number off the Internet for old listing that exist for the out-of-business business. Interesting, at any rate.

Under customer service (http://www.landmarkmerchant.com/home/contact.asp) is where you can get a live adult to threaten legal action. Caller ID shows as Bluepay, but really Landmark. They said they would remove. Both 312-506-3688 and their sales office number listed on the website 1-800-882-4892 bring you to the same recorded message. CALL THE NUMBER BELOW and send a certified letter threatening legal action;

I have received 6 calls from this number over the past 2 days. They always ask if our company accepts credit cards. I asked after the 2nd call to be removed from their calling list but this has not stopped them. Very aggravating. Amazing thing about this is that my company's main office is in Massachusetts and I work at a satellite office in North Carolina.

Rec'd yet another junk marketing ph call from 312-506-3688, Landmark Merchant Solutions. - No msg left. We recognize the number and don't even bother answering. Hopefully this hacks them off.

If it weren?t for the stupid environmental wackos that have no common sense, function only on "feelings" and see our election process as a grandeur American Idol, I?d truly like to spray DDT on everyone of these telemarketers. That?s the one pesticide that works, and as we all know, the lefties despise anything that actually works.

Where are all you stupid Barack Husein Obama supporters with your nationalized healthcare? How about my health, by running telemarketers into the ground, so that my health improves. Now that's one entitlement that would actually do the country good!
