Why is this still happening?  State should shut them down.

Have received calls from this number for several days. Very annoying. Caller never leaves a message.

They called me for a survey about University. I didn't answer the first few times but after a week of continuous calling I answered right before dinner and then told him I could take the call the next day but decided to proceede to block the number

Received two calls on my land line 6-13-2014, and now they are calling my cell phone # today 6-14-2014.  Said they were doing a research, and I told them they can do their research, however not to call this number again, as this was my cell phone. she abruptly, said good bye mam, and hung up.  Frankly, I am on the National Do not call list, and this seems to be useless.  It was annoying enough to get the call on my house phone, but now they are calling my cell phone.  How did they get both of my phone numbers and how do I get them to STOP calling?  It is so annoying!!!

They have quite a few offices in different states. Supposedly NY is listed as their headquarters.
You may be able to file a complaint with your own State Attorney General or theirs.

Keep in mind, these companies R wasting their own money, so let them call until they run out of business.
Somewhat amusing everytime I ignore their calls, cause I know they're driving themselves nuts trying to get a response. But I never pick up. Not going to waste my energy on them whatsoever.

They call my landline every single day, several times a day. The answering machine picks up and they hang up. They are scammers. Do not speak with them. You may want to just pick up the phone and tweet a whistle or punch the # sign - that may deter them but I don't think so. The name comes up as A BT SRBI INC. Phonies....

As long as its a real number going back to the pain bothering you and not a spoofed number. If its a spoofed number, you can very well create another victim of the calls you don't want.  Please do so carefully when you call back numbers to harass, it could be someone's home phone being spoofed or a real business..

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so. Even the survey's and charities can get into trouble though if they do not place you on the internal lists when asked.

I received a call from this number 2 days ago at 8:09pm EST.  Never had this number come up before. Comes up on caller ID as:  A BT SRBI INC.  No idea how they got my private/unlisted number either.  Registered with the NDNCL and I still get soliciting phone calls.  That do no call list is totally worthless because you get unwanted calls anyway, no matter how many times you make sure your number is on the list through out the year.  Someone else posted this link   http://www.srbi.com    and I went to the site and emailed them to immediately remove my number from their list.  Hopefully it will work and they will stop calling.  

Regardless, those phone calls should not be coming through if we are registered on the do not call list.

I got the call today and it was a female asking if I was (stated my name) she stated that she is taking a travel survey and she was not calling to sell anything.  She asked if I was on a cell phone and traveling at the time of call, I said no.  She ask me my zip code, I told her because anyone can get that information.  Then she asked me if I travel more than 75 miles in the last month and I told her no, she said due to my answer she has no further questions for the travel survey.  After that, I entered my phone number again on the do not call list and blocked the number from my phone.

This number is SRBI's default Id which is the same for all call centers!  This is an legitimate data research company. Feel free to visit their website @ www.srbi.com dumb a***s before  start rumors about someone's company!

Everyone's wrong^, SRBI is a survey research company that does legitimate public health survey work (been trying to get a job with them for awhile now). They're not phishers or telemarketers, they just need public data to report on. It's annoying, sure, but it's also important. And the reason the calls come from MD or NJ or whatever is because their call centers are located there. Just don't be personally offended, either answer their questions or don't, whatever.

On Sunday I got a call from this number to my cell phone, which is unlisted. The caller identified himself as with the U. S. Department of Transportation and was doing a survey that would take only a little of my time. Fortunately I was busy at the time and declined. I have to say that his voice sounded extremely professional. Are these phishers hiring professional voice actors or something?

Got called at 711 pm last night in Upstate New York. I usually just pick up the phone and say absolutely nothing until they hang up. I figure if it's a real call they will call back.
Caller ID just says Illinois.

Got this number on my cell twice after normal business hours here.  First looked like voice mail but nothing after wasting minutes checking it.   Then called again at 9cst.  I read some of these are triangulated from outside country and steal your number and run up rates when answered.  Someone else pays my bill and will be really ticked if so.

Got a call from this number on my work cell at 9:00 on a Sunday evening. I didn't recognize it so I searched it, and I am glad I didn't answer. Caller ID said it was from Chicago.

This must be one of Georgia's field offices.  312 area code is Chicago.

This number has called numerous times, claiming to be Georgia Public Health department. They ask for lady of house, and say my number was randomly selected.

I have gotten numerous calls from this so-called survey company. I have them blocked but that doesn't stop them, they continue to call all times but they're blocked so it doesn't ring.
