My kid's school lunch balance

Gaaaaahh, the calls stopped for a almost 2 weeks and now they've started up again!! 6 TIMES in the last 40 min.  SMH....I refuse to answer.  hahaha

I've been receiving calls from this number every 15 minutes from about 7-10 pm for the past few nights!! Grrrrr....I have not answered, because I thought it was ridiculous that they called that many times.  But I did call back once and got a busy signal:/

I didn't answer but had a voicemail message about my son's lunch account.

I get calls from this number.

This number keeps calling.

When I finally answered it, it was an automated system with information on my son's testing schedule for his school.

I GET CALL FRIM THIS NUMBER EVERY DAY FROM 9AM TO 11PM ON MI CALLER ID IT WILL SAY CHICAGO ILL 312-588-3111 WHEN I CALL BACK MY PHONE HANGS UP AND WILL SAY U HAVE DIAL THE WRONG ARE CODE CHECK YOUR NUMBER AND TRY AGAIN

Stop calling me, you turkeys! We live in LA!

I get called at least twice a day from this number. The recording is in Spanish. I cannot call back, when I try it sounds like an automated pick up and hang up.

This cannot be legal.

when i call back all circuits are busy

We found out that our children's principal sends recorded news about school and information parents should know to some marketing company who farms out these recorded messages via automated calling systems through a Los Angeles phone number and of course, 312-588-3111. If you try to return these calls, you will get "all circuits are busy" or "this number has been disconnected, try your call again". IS THERE ANYTHING A CONSUMER CAN DO WHEN WE'RE ON THE 'DO NOT CALL' REGISTRY TO MAKE THIS STOP?! I sent a handwritten letter to our children's school principal asking to be removed from this type of marketing and the only response was another pre-recorded message sent out the following Sunday evening (automated to call you every 30 minutes until you answer) - that if you do not wish to have these calls come in, just pick up the phone and hang up. NOT ACCEPTABLE - who's side of the law are we on?

It is a number, evidently, used by AUHSD.  I got a call from Sycamore JHS.  It is a message number, I guess,for the school district.  Savanna HS is in the same district.  It is a pre-recorded, taped message from each school.

This number is ridiculous. They call me pretty much every other evening and never say anything. If I answer or not it doesn't make a difference cause they never say anything and when I call back oops the susbscriber I reached is not taking calls at that time!

This number called me about my son (i do not have a son ..or any child for that matter) .. anyhow.. the receptionist for this middle school left me a different number to call back and also an ext. # and I called them back and told her that they have the wrong number.. it seemed legit, she was very nice and thanked me for informing her. I think it really was a school.. and oh yes, I just got this number about 2 weeks ago .. soo yea.. anyway it was weird....

DON'T (SOME) OF YOU READ BEFORE YOU POST!?!?!?

This phone number (along with a few others) comes from a company that schools ALL OVER THE COUNTRY use to notify parents about their children's performance in school and about other school notices.  Okay, so that means, even though your child goes to school in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, this company is in Chicago.  This call is not coming directly from your child's school office nor is it associtaed with any singular school.  No one person at your child's school is calling every parent letting them know everytime their child doesn't turn in a 'required' assignment.

THIS IS NOT A SCAM!  If you don't have children, then don't answer the phone when the number pops up.  Add the number to your contacts as "TeleParent" or something so you'll know who it is, then don't answer.  Someone, somewhere (maybe a 13 year-old student office assistant or even the teacher) may have made a typo and your number was put into their system by accident.  OR maybe your phone number belonged to someone else before you got it?!?!

This is an incredible system!  I love it!  My daughter is in junior high and she doesn't tell me anything - good or bad.  I ask my daughter all of the time, "did you do your homework, did you turn in your homework?"  I always get the same answer - "yes."  Later in the day (or the next day), I get a phone call from this system that tells me there were assignments not turned in.  Sometimes I get calls saying my daughter received an "A" on a test!  I then get to surprise her with some type of reward!

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE TROUBLE FOR THIS COMPANY!  I would hate for it to go away because SOME people don't understand the purpose of it.  (Think about it - that's the same reason prayer was taken out of schools and the world hasn't been the same since ;)  Parents all over the country are finding out about their children's performance when they probably otherwise wouldn't (due to budget cuts and the ever popular "meeting the mailman to get the report card before the parents get home").

THIS IS HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM -
TeleParent is available from 7am to 6pm (Chicago time). Call (800) 688-6077, option 0.  If you do not have children - if you are some wack job of a parent who doesn't want to know the status of your child's performance, you can call the company and they will tell you which school is associated with your number.  You can contact the school and ask them to change the information.  They don't like to add numbers to their "do not call list" because the next parent who has your phone number may never know about their child's performance.

please take off your calling list.   I get like maybe 20 calls everyday.  I dial the number back and it disconnects. I have no idea who is calling.  Everytime we are home and the number pops up we do not answer  because it is a long distance call.

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING MY HOME WHEN I ANSWER IT HANGS UP,AND IT'S FROM CHICAGO.

I also get the 213 call but my child goes to a school in OC and it is always regarding HIS school....

This number called me yesterday, I didn't take the call as I was driving.  I'm in Northern CA and our school dist usually sends out automated messages via a 213 number.   This call from 312-588-3111 didn't call back or leave a message.

This number calls students parents in the Anaheim Union High School District to let parents know up and coming things related to them in their school and or district. Similar to teleparent but from the district, not the teacher.

the tell number is part of an automated dialer that many schools use for testing, beinging of school notices, etc. there are several numbers that do the same thing for the school systems. be happy someone is trying to inform you of what is going on with your school. yes some numbers are out of your area. My dauhghter goes to a orange co, ca school. we get these all the time. this number is new, but explains why i'm getting it. usually they leave a message...
