Is Bookitravel.com legit?

Here is a fresh update on these people. Phone # 331-425-8058. DO NOT GET INVOLVED with them. This is a membership
(dues) club. I had to cancel my credit card when I found out and was billed the 197.00 for taxes!?!? I was able to reach them through this number and was told they don't refund taxes!!! What a pantload, since I didn't receive anything to pay taxes on!!!
My next actions will be through my local television station and the attorney general's office in Illinois as well as my home state. There was never any mention of this being a club that you have to pay dues for during the booking process. Clearly a misrepresentation that occurred across state lines. Save yourself the headache and hang up if you get a call from them.

Rang twice. I didn't answer the phone. Called the # back twice. 1st time, after a very long 45 second pause of silence, the automated greeting came on - "Your call cannot be completed as dialed."

2nd call, dead silence for over 60 seconds.

I do have some debts outstanding, so I don't know if this is connected.

Don't get all worried.  Obviously a robo call and BS.  But if you wanna have some fun, answer it and and just say your region and F.B.I.  e.g.  'Northeastern FBI call center, how may I direct your call?'

Free cruise offering.  Not technically a scam, these are legitimate if you're willing to jump through all their hoops.  First you pay taxes and fees which are not included.  Then you must attend hours-long seminars about time-share offers, before you are allowed to board.  The cabin most likely has a bunk bed and no windows.  And the cruise will be for two days and one night with no ports of call.  Transportation to and from Ft Lauderdale or wherever is not included.
