I answered but acted like they had the wrong number.

I just recevied a call, and it said Please hold for important enrollment information and then it placed me on a long hold.  I hung up and couldn't find any info other then the number is from Chicago, IL.

It's Ellis University, I accidently clicked the I approve them to contact me check box when applying for one of the big scholarship drawings.

I researched online classes and somehow they began calling me... they call me three times a day. It's been over a month. I finally waited to hear a rep per the automated message I recieved when I answered.

I was at work so I set my phone down for a second... 56 min later I was still recieving a message about a higher than normal call volume. I hung up then called back and recieved an automated menu that goes no where. Interesting...

the number is Ellis University and they wont stop calling, American Intercontinental University same way. These Online schools most anyway dont offer anything but a way to lose your money. They will set you up and get you thinkin youre headed for college all they want you to do is apply for student loans. They get the money even if you cant or dont start school. Then you have the debt and they get off free. They actually benefit if you dont start or complete school you still have the full loan to pay off. Atleast I didnt Sign on the dotted line and wind up in debt. Bad part is they just keep calling even when you answer and tell em that you cant afford to go to school right now. They are preying on the unemployed and underemployed. Its BS and needs to be stopped. No should mean NO.

I got a creepy call from Ellis University over a month ago saying that I had requested information from them but I hadn't.  When I told them that they hung up quick.  I just recieved a call from this number today.  I couldn't answer because I was at work and they didn't leave a message!  What is wrong with these people?

I have had numerous calls per day from them for months. I've asked three times for them to take me off their list (that's when they actually speak) and they still call. I inquired about schools but have chosen one and asked every other one to take me off their list and these guys just won't!

Yes indeed, these folks are fast. I was researching Ellis University on line and requested some basic information. When I hit the submit key, my cell phone rang within 3 minutes and the number traces back to the marketing department at Ellis Univerity. It's my understanding that they must verify the information provided on applications and/or inquiries to insure both e-mail addresses and telephone numbers are valid. Since it appears to no body actually speaks to the Reps. at Ellis, it would appear that this is exactly what they are doing.

I think it is Ellis University... That makes sense because I recently inquired about VA approved schools. I answered my phone twice and those panzy a***s don't say anything.
