Got a call from this number recently. I think it's the same tele-scammer that calls me at least once everyday (Monday - Friday), usually around the same time, but with a different number each day. I don't answer, and they never leave a message. My policy is that I don't answer the phone unless it's from someone I know. Plus, I won't hear the ringer anyway ... I have the normal ringtone set to a very silent ringtone. Only friends, family and contacts have regular ringtones, so I'll hear when they call and I'll answer the phone for them. Oh, and I have any unknown numbers set to "automatic reject" so they won't even get a chance to ring my phone! I used to really hate these tele-scammers, but now I get a little satisfaction knowing I've wasted some of their time! Maybe if more people do like I do, the tele-scammers will only be wasting the time and resources of the telephone service providers, and then, maybe the service providers will take some action against them. One can hope....

I just filed my income taxes. I feel someone in the IRS is behind this and selling our phone numbers

Got a call too, did not answer, and no message. I'm a block their number with my cell phone block app. LMAO

This number called my cell phone today. I did not answer it & they didn't leave message. I am on the DNC registry, too. Will report them.

I received a call from these freaks! I had the ringer off so I was not able to answer. It seems I get several phone calls every week that are on this 800# phone list. I am so sick of these people, if you can call them that
I could spit nails!!!! With the all modern technology we have at our finger tips in the USA, there should be a way to stop all of this crap!!!!!!

Got one too folks.  If you ever have applied for, received or denied an online loan of any sorts, I think they sell your number to everyone and anyone out there.

i've had 2 calls in the last 3 days each day, i do not answer and they leave no message. i am also on dnc registry. something should be done to them

Same story as all the others reporting this.  How is this not an issue for the federal government

message using obama's name and sayint that if you had back taxes etc.  they will help elimimate them  etc.  you get the picture

Received this call this am. and Said reduce or remove back taxes. said Obama can reduce.  Called back and got a telemarketer.

Obviously it is another VoIP scam probably from overseas-don't answer it and you can block it but they will start calling from a new fake number in a few days/weeks anyway.  Welcome to the golden age of technology!  BTW-they are not in Chicago the same as when I call someone from my gmail account I am not anywhere near California.

Received a call from them today, they name dropped Obama and said they could cut my back tax debt in half or eliminate it.
1. I do not have back tax debt whatsoever.
2.If they were really calling about back taxes, they would have asked by name and asked to confirm my SSN.

My phone number is on the dnc registry and also on the 3 reporting credit agencys. New Start Today said i owed money on back taxes which i donot and used the presidents name on it. I will be reporting this number to the dnc registry list.

I just got a call from this number they said I owed money on my back taxes and yes they used president obahma name also. That within 15 minutes my lein in back taxes can be removed. They never bothered to check that my number is registered on the donot call list, also on the 3 reporting credit agencies. I donot owe money in back taxes. I want them reported also.

stop calling me.

Received call from this number today and caller id showed NEW START TODAY. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I called the number back and got a recording that it's a telemarketer and if I wanted my number taken off their list to press 1 and it would take up to 72 hours to take into affect.  I will be filing a complaint with DONOTCALL.GOV since I'm on the federal and state do not call lists.

I recieved a call this am asking to lower my back taxes and whip them out completeing. they used obama's name and then asked to remove me or continue on. I hung up called back and was told it was a telamarketing agency. NOT GOVERNMENT!

Just answered call, and the auto message said they specialize in cutting down your past IRX tax debate, etc, Press option1  for this, etc.

Hung up.

CALLED THIS AM WHAT A LOSER!  I DIDN'T ANSWER
