I got this robo call number this morning, urging me to call my state senator in Illinois and tell him that all public employees should be forced onto 401K retirement plans and that is the only solution to the state pension issue.  Of course, this will benefit the bankers and stock brokers, but it will not benefit the public employees as it is perfectly obvious that 401K plans will lead to even worse financial conditions for the state and for the people forced into these plans.

Won't do any good......I've reported numerous numbers to do not call list - it's worthless

I didn't answer the call because I knew it would be a call I did not want.  I'm glad I have 'Caller ID' which displayed 'Chicago IL'.

These people keep calling me daily and even if I DO answer the phone, there is nobody there! I'm sick and tired of these "political groups" interrupting me for NO REASON!!!  I try to call back to tell them them to STOP calling me and it just rings and rings. IMO, they should NOT be exempt from the DNC list because they're just as bad as telemarketers!

I received a call from this number yesterday evening at 6:37 PM. I did not pick up the phone so the call went through to my answering machine/system. I pulled up my Email this morning and noticed a message was left by this number that was 9:57 long. That's correct. Almost ten minutes long! I started listening to it and the caller/and or system  had connected me to a Town Hall meeting taking place in I believe Springfield. I don't have time for this crap or having someone irresponsibly leaving a ten minute message on my telephone line. I can't afford to listen to or retieve a message of that length unless it is in regards to a family emergency! I don't care who this group is or who these people think they support or represent. This was rediculous!!!!! You just don't tie up somebodies line for ten minutes without their knowledge or being in agreement!!! Total disrespect!

I received a call with info on my answering machine which stopped because it was full of blocked, private and unknown calls.

Hey, I am all for that. The pols raise their salaries and benefits and retirement at the drop of the hat.
(Mayor Daley - $50,000 more retirement per year for a one (1) month contribution to a state pension plan.)

The Career Politicians go out begging contributions from you and me every election cycle and then they do not even want to talk to you in between.

Encourage this organization to Beat'em up and get the Career Politicans kicked out of office every election cycle - (or 2 election cycles at most.). There ought to be a law that limits their time in office - Oh, wait a minute, they would never pass that.

We need to Eradicate ALL laws and start a clean slate.

Let's do a reverse robo call -- Everyone who received a call from them call them and give them something to do for us. Ask them for a time line for completion of your request.

(Note: If it has to do with legislation, the legislation may never go through the Career Politicians who think of themselves first, second and third.  Getting re-elected, enhancing their salary and benefits, and raising campaign funds by increasing telephone, gas, and electric rates for you and me so these companies donate big bucks to their campaign funds which they get to keep after they leave public office.)

The problem is the calls are unwanted and are a nuisance. Free speech should be applied in the market place and public spheres. Not in my house. I believe it is an abuse of freedom-licentious.

The judgement was made during the legislative process that interfering with political speech was in conflict with the 1st amendment, and such a law would be overturned in the courts.

While I disagree with this, as signing up for the DNC and asserting the sanctity of one's home is also protected, but that was the logic used.

The Illinois Policy Institute is a phony "grass-roots" political front group for Wall Street billionaires like the Koch Brothers trying to drive wedges between people and screw teachers, police officers and firefighters -- except, of course, the older ones so they won't object to this obnoxious campaign. Public workers making middle class incomes are not the ones screwing up state finances, it's the extremely wealthy immorally and unpatriotically refusing to pay their fair share of the taxes needed.

What's really amazing is seeing middle class salaried professionals selling their souls as lackeys of billionaires who are screwing up the country.

I just got a call from this number as well on my Cell phone and no message was left.  Ugh...I have better things to do than to wonder who is calling with no messages left.
