Just called my cell phone and I never give my cell number to anyone. Apparently I won a sweepstakes with a trip to Las Vegas, Orlando or somewhere else I can't recall. Oh my God, I was so excited, I hung up before pressing 1 as instructed. LOL!
Lady on the line sounded like the same wench that said I won a Lincoln Navigator last week on my home phone.

Had a missed call from this number
from Maine
Keith 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
I just noticed this # as a missed call so didn't hear what spheil they had going on....I'm on Verizon and I had always been told Verizon is usually the exception to getting spam phone calls like this (AT&T, Spring and others sell their # list supposedly - Verizon doesn't)
Paige 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
I supposedly won a sweepstakes that I never signed up for. This is a scam or a timeshare company that doesn't take you through to the option to be taken off the call list (unless it is an option pretty far in to the message). I pressed 0 which connected me with a voicemail that prompts you to leave your name and phone number. Give them your number and ask to be taken off their call list. If they call again, sue the crap out of them!

Same upbeat lady left her recorded message telling me I won a trip somewhere and I've had the "your warrantee is expiring on your vehicle soon" call, too. I have a Nebraska number with Sprint. I guess this was bound to happen sometime. We dealt with it for years with our landlines, now these scumbags have our cell numbers.

I just received a call from them - I too never give out my cell number. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.
Nebraska - Alltel

I got this call yesterday, claiming to be a bank. They asked for my social security number. I have a Nebraska number too, and had received a call earlier in the week about a free vacation, but I don't think it was from the same number. Apparently the call is from Chicago.
joe nebraska 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
I also got the call. Something about a free vacation package to anywhere in the world...
mshrmgrl 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
yup im from nebraska and i got the same call today they even gave an address to a hotel conference center so i can pick up my "free" tickets. With no obligation to purchase anything. what a joke! I should go and cause a scene. lol
wf 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
And I'm not from Wisconsin; I've got a Nebraska number.
wf 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
An upbeat lady congratulated me on winning a free trip to any airport in the United States.

I live in WI (not ATT though) and just got this # calling me and wanted to check WTF it is. I never give out my cell#, so i knew it was bogus or a wrong #. No message though.
JR 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Same happened to me. I am also from WI and have ATT.
TRULY TIRED OF THE SCAMS and no clue how they got my #
Court 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
I recieved this same phone call , I live in WI but have Virgin Mobile. I found this message board as a result of googling the phone number. Good to know none of us here "fell " for this scam or whatever it is.
However, I too, would like to know of a way to remove my cell # from these marketing lists...
Sue 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
I had a "missed call" on my cell phone. Googled the number and saw that many people have received calls from this number and it's a scam. I've been receiving lots of these calls lately on my cell phone which I do not give out to everyone. Other have been from a company that states my "automobile warranty" is going to expire and this is their LAST reminder. What is up with all this crap on cell phones and how do we go about getting our numbers removed from these types of lists?
Mike 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
I got the same call. I am from WI and I have AT@T and I have no clue how they got my cell phone number because I never give that number out.
Jan 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Don't answer when I don't know the number. I'm also from Wisconsin but not ATT.
I got the call about winning the Navigator too, but that was on home phone which is not listed.
Nick 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Haha, yeah. I just got this about a minute and a half ago :(
a.rouse 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Got the same call just a minute ago!! HELP someone, anyone know why we are getting this???
ASP 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Same as above case,,Came to my Cell..on 3/9/2009 need to track down these SCAM... or Time Sharing Company...
Kendall 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Received a call....didn't answer it! Just thought I would type in the number and see what comes up. I too, live in Wisconsin.
Michael 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
UGH- how did they get my cell #????
I NEVER give that out.
WI, AT&T... something stinks with that.
Steve 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Same as everyone else...what's with all these scams? I'm being burried under them the last month!? My cell used to be free of this crap! The calls are coming in from everywhere lately! I'm from Wisconsin...saw someone else noted that too. I have AT&T...any similarities here? No one knows my number really. I never give it out! WTF?!
Mike 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
This is a scam I think. I just got a similar call about a free trip to Vegas. They gave out information so fast I could almost not understand. I think it is from a timeshare company that wants to give you a discounted trip if you listen to their presentation.
Justine 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Just received a call.....The woman spoke so fast, she was hard to understand. Supposedly I won a trip to Las Vegas. To bad I hate to gamble.
JOhn 2011-06-06 20:45:43 Unknown
Something about winning a sweepstakes prize; and then they ask you if you're from Wisconsin. Strange and the woman on the recording sounds way too excited about it.
liv 2009-05-26 20:31:45 Unknown
a recorded message, "congratulations! you have been selected to receive a complementary round trip vacation, from any major airport,...congratulations! call this number now...congratulations!"
L 2009-04-09 00:25:16 Unknown
I got a call from this number. It said that they were from the fraud department of Chase Mastercard (irony much?). I don't have an account there. They asked for my social security #. Just thought I'd give a heads up.
sack 2009-03-17 23:13:07 Unknown
same no mess.but you get charged for call.
