"Melvin" called me and left me a voicemail from the "Notification Center" about some contest I supposedly entered.  He? asked that I call 1-866-430-3180.  Bull.  Melvin called me on my business cell phone.

I just received a call from this number. i did the same thing and pressed 1. I wanted them to take my name off thier list. I do not have any credit cards, so I thought it was odd that they called to reduce my rate. When a man came to the line, he asked if I wanted to inquire on the rate reduction. I told him I just have one question. I asked who he was trying to reach, then he asked my name, I refused to give it to him. I asked again who he was trying to reach. He was then very rude and asked my name again. I refused, he then said "lady if it wasn't for you, don't worry about it" and hung up. I tried to call the number back and it was disconnected. Ha! I just reported them to the FTC..I hope it does some good.

Called at 10:05 PM on a week day evening!  I pressed 1 and it rang and rang and rang....finally so little dumb butt answered, I told him how dare you call my house at 10:05 PM and he said you called us!  I about went nuts on him!  He finally hung up on me!!!  This is a disposable phone number, when you call it back the number has been disconnected!  SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is phishing SCAM!  Recieved a call from a recording with a female named Bridget with card services wanting to lower the interest rate on my Visa or Mastercard to as low as 1%.  It tellls you to press 1 because this rate is about to expire.  I pressed 1 and got a female by the name of Simone,
who asked me was I calling about the interest rate.  I stated I didnt call you, you called me.  She said well do you have a Visa or a Mastercard and when I told her you are with card services with my credit card company you should know she hung up on me.

SCAM!!!  The recording says her name is Bridget and they can lower you credit card interest rate to as little as 1% for you Visa or Mastercard but you must act now because it is going to expire.  I pressed 1 to speak to someone and I got a woman named Simone.  She asked me if I was interested in reducing my rate and I told her yes.  She asked me if I had a Visa or a Mastercard and I told her well you called me wouldn''t you know?  She then hung up on me.  This is another phishing scam!

these people claim they have important information about my existing credit card rate.  I can press a number to discontinue calls, but I've pressed the number and they still call.  The last 2 times, I pressed 1 to speak to an operator.  The first time I asked them to put me on their do not call list and they hung up on me.  The next time I asked them for the name of their company, and they hung up on me again.  I reported them to www.donotcall.com.  I urge you to do the same.  These people need to get some manners and obey the law.
