It's the card services scammers calling, trying to fool you into giving them your credit card number, so they can rip you off. Read previous posts.

This number called my cell last week. Yesterday is was 312-800-9077. When calling it back, it will ring 4 times then recorder comes on saying the number is invalid and to try your call again.

"On accident" and "by accident" appear to me to be age related, with younger people using "by accident"... Maybe you can poll others at your next family get together.

I somewhat agree, but if you don't answer the "card services" scammers calls ,but your machine does, it also indicates a working number. I answered, and wasted their time as much as I could, and after a few times of doing this their calls have gone down to near zero! They don't want to have their time wasted, when there's someone else they can cheat.

Yeah, I talked to someone from this number. They said I won a free Carnival Cruise because I had entered a contest. (Which I had not) All I had to do was pay $90+ in taxes. And it had to be today! Scam!!

Called my cell today; no voice message was left. I am not returning the call. Do not call numbers back that I do not know.

The auto-dialer these scammers are using is working overtime today. This sounds like a 'free' vacation or cruise scam that ends up not being free after all when they con your credit or debit card information out of you.
Tell them nothing. Pressing any number to speak to a representative or to have your number removed from their list will get you nowhere -- EXCEPT that it will confirm to these crooks that yours is a real number.
Add this number to your phone's address book under SCAM or block the number if your phone has that capability. Last, but not least report each and every one of these scam calls to www.donotcall.gov. I know it is working, slowly but surely, because I am receiving a lot fewer credit card interest rate scam calls (for example).

Called and left a message when i checked the message no one said anything. Called the number and no one answered
| Billie 2013-04-01 19:19:30 Unknown |
Called me also. This is simply a variation of the "card services" scam where the object of the scammer's call is to fool people into giving them their credit card number so they can rip them off. I would bet this scam is run by the same people as the "card services"scammers who have used a suspiciously similar number 312-800-9037. Regardless, if the trip is so good and inexpensive they should go on the trip themselves--a one way trip to hell, where they can' bother us from.

Received a call on my cell phone from 312-800-9063. My normal practice is to just let unknown or blocked numbers go to voice mail, then if they have something to say worth listening to I'll call back. Needless to say, they didn't leave a voice message, so I didn't call back.

Tried calling # back...and I don't even get a ring tone!! .... then I let it sit there, and I get all circuits are busy.
I'm sure it probably is for a cruise as stated earlier, I wouldn't doubt that. I'll just answer it next time so I can press "2" haha

And yes... the inappropriate use of you're instead of your was intentional, just in case you are running out of insignificant errors that you must correct.
