Received a call today stating my husband was going to be served legal documents tomorrow. I asked why and why I was being called and not my husband I was told that she was just the courier and gave me a case number and a phone number to call. I called the number 4152302036 And got a voicemail for Amy Monroe from Legal Compliance Service. I called again to see if anyone picked up and got vm again. Then I looked up the number and her name and lo and behold I found a bunch of reviews stating it was a scam.  A while later she called me back asking for my husband, I asked her to hold on while I put on my recorder (yes I have one from college). Then I asked her why she was calling me for my husband's debt. She got angry and asked why I had to record her just to ask that question. She then started saying I must have a bad marriage because apparently I can't speak for my husband.....right. I told her I googled her and her "company" and I learned thay she's a scam artist. She started yelling again stating that I don't even know the name of her company. I said it's stated clearly on her voicemail. Then she started asking what name I looked up. I said the one in her voicemail which pissed her off. My guess is she probably says she works for many different companies. I'm not telling her which one I looked up. She kept yelling nonsense, obviously trying to intimidate me, which didn't work. She eventually hung up.

My husband and I just bought a house a few months ago and we monitor our credit frequently. If there was an issue with any debt we would know about it.

Either way, I never, ever give out personal info to anyone over the phone. I feel bad for all the people they're scamming. It's horrible. We'll see if they call

They are now using a 415 area code out of San Francisco. Spoke to Amy Monroe and gave her my email address a 2nd time and nothing. I have reported them to the FBI and other consumer reporting agencies. According to the agencies, these people are fishing the old fashion way, by phone and not by computer.

Well, Amy Monroe, or whoever she is, did call me back.  When I answered she said she had been going over my "case" and that it was about a bad check I had supposedly written to a pet care company "a long time ago".  When I told her I had never written a check to any pet care company and asked her what bank it was on, there was a short silence.  I then told her to hold a second while I cut the recording on.  She quickly told me I didn't have her permission to record our conversation and she would "send everything in writing".  She then hung up.

These people will not provide a physical street address or email. It is truly a scam.

You are right Mel. According to the Fair Debt Collection Act and the Telemarketing laws, there must be a number on the caller ID. When has anyone ever asked if you were going to be home or at work at a certain time of day with a form of ID? Never! When I was served for my Notary log years ago, they just showed up with the papers and a ten dollar bill. It never went to court but that is how it is performed. They are trying to fish information from you.

Paid cash for house, car and everything else. Grandfather left me a fortune and I do not know how these Idiots got my info. I hope you are in debt and pay your bills. HaHaHa!!!!!!

Asked for an email address and they refused to provide one. They are still answering calls well after 5:00 CST time. They must be working out of the home in Chicago.

i received a call also from a company by the name of lcs and they were very fair to me     collections is a rough industry and i dont care who settles my debt as long as i have a way to save myself some serious money      good luck to all

Called after hours and told the guy that just answered "Hello" that I have reported this to the FBI and the Federal Trades. He hung up. I called again and got Amy's voice mail, told the voice mail the same thing a couple of times. I hope there will be an end to this harassment.

As there was no caller ID I didn't pick up the call.  When I got the message, the man said his name was Mark Smith and the message was for (and gave my name misprounounced), said he would show up tomorrow between the hours of Noon and 5:00 pm at my house or place of employment with very important papers and I would need a form of ID when he arrived.  If I had any questions I should call the claimant at 312-818-1353 and give them my claimant number AL1649.  I called the number and received a voice mailbox for Amy Monroe.  Left my name and number with my claimant number  and have received no call back as of yet

These con artists called my mom and my in-laws and frightened them with 'legal action '  against my wife. Now I was a debt collector for two years so I knew darn well this was a scam..This is not a legit collection agency who happens to be too aggresive, this is a office full of liars, cons, and pathetic losers. You can tell them with confidence to kiss your whole entire a**. ...I did that and guess what? They stopped calling.

I got the same number 312-818-1353 calling my two sisters telling them that to tell me to sign some court legal documents and they will go to my house to sign it. So i called back like 3 times and still no answer just voicemail with name of Amy Monroe and she's from LCS or Legal Compliance Services. I know this scam because there's no way a court will give you heads up before they show up. plus I'm kind of person that go with "if you don't nothing you shouldn't be afraid from anything" - my credits are good, all my loan are paid so I'm clean. I'm only upset because they scared my sisters x(.

Ok - long story - the following names and numbers have been threatening to "serve me papers" if I don't pay them over the phone "right now" - Crosby, Cain and Associates (855-420-8338) - Sharon Parson, John Starks and Anthony Welker - Legal Compliance Services (312-818-1353 - Amy Monroe - they have been impersonating an Officer - Officer Allinger (not a real Officer) with our local police department.  They have called my husband, my ex-husband, his Sister, my ex-husband's wife, her Mother, and her Sister.  According to an real Officer with our local PD - unless they contact me directly, they haven't broken any laws.  This has been going on for months and so far no one has been able to tell me how to stop it.  Particularly since they continue to use bogus names and numbers.  Any suggestions?

Called 312-818-1353 back to find out what the legal documents were about that Division One Courier, Holly, was talking about. I told Amy Monroe I was recording her and she hung up on me.

When she called me she left a message and said her name was Jessica Parker when I called it back her voice mail said Amy Monroe I would not give this lady any info!!! Ask for her address or tell her you are recording the call and she hangs up. It is against the law for any collector to leave a threading message or to say they are gonna show up at your house or job  .  There is no listing for this business anywhere! Be very cautious. They called it is company LCS for civil lawsuit from bank I never used and for loan that I have never heard of company
