The caller is from Wachovia and they want to sell you Wachovia life insurance. Their calls are very frequent and persistent. I finally answered and told them to go away.

Alleged Wachovia rep selling supplemental auto accident insurance. Tried to enroll me over the phone. I told them no way.

THEY say that they are from Wachovia, then they say they're connected with
Wells Fargo

This call is from Wachovia doing marketing to sell you other products like insurance. If you dial the number back, the message will say they tried to contact you about a new product or servce. If you are not interested, you are prompted to press 1. They also give you the option to opt of out of future marketing if you enter your phone number. It takes up to 30 days to complete the opt out process.

I too keep getting call everyday from 312-878-5584 but my caller ID shows Credit One Bank. I too
spoke to a Spanish speaking woman. She wanted to speak to my husband. I told her not to call
back but she still calls daily. How can we report this number to someone?

Calls nearly every day. Caller ID says Credit One Bank. I've not been able to catch the call yet, but they never leave a message. Wish they would stop.

Got calls on 3/31/10, 4/2/10 and today 4/6/10, all showing Credit One Bank. One call terminated in my voice mail as garbled voices, as if someone was using a cell phone or speaker phone. This is a chicago area code. Credit One Bank is located on the west coast - nevada and california addresses with no branches in Chicago as far as I can see. I think that someone, scammers, may have found people who actually have certain accounts (Wachovia, Credit One Bank) and are banking on the real customers answering the phone and giving up crucial information. I remember watching a news report last year that explained how caller ID can be tricked...I don't remember how, but since I now it is possible, I am always wary when "official" companies call my house.

This number is calling all hours of day & night. Nobody ever there if I do pick up. I do not have ANY accounts with Wells Fargo OR Wachovia.

I've been getting this number on my caller ID with the Chicago, Il location for a week now. They call one or two times daily, including weekends. Naturally, they never leave a message. Another site identified the call as coming from Wachovia and trying to sell insurance with a direct debit feature.

Answered call today 2/4/2010 at 1:48 pm. Asked who's calling and said from Wachovia. When I asked "why in the world she's calling from Chicago Ilinois when our bank is here in MD?" She hung up. The caller was a woman with spanish accent.
