On Monday I spoke to a "live" person. Told them to take my number of their list. So we went from having three and four calls a day for debt reduction to nothing for three days. They started back up again with a new number. I did not get to the phone in time to answer this one.
I figure i have enough debt reduction now that this company owes me money! ;-)

Didn't answer.
Thanks for the site. Have given up on answering from unknown numbers as telemarketers piss me off to no end. Just come here and see who didn't waste my time or run up my phone bill.

Answer by saying something like, " Hello, this is the Chicago Police dept, downtown branch, Sargeant Smith here, how can I help you? "
These jerk callers get so flumoxed and can't appologize enough then they take that number off their auto call list. Just say the name of the police dept of your own city and pick any name at random to be the sargeant, works every time for me. lol.

Same company, new number. 312-878-9652 Debt Solutions, with lead-in saying they were calling about Visa/Mastercard. Press 1 at the prompt, spoke with underpaid monkey who said they are based in the USA (surprise, probably North Dakota where this scam started a year ago) but are licensed in Canada (then the CRTC should be able to reach-out-and-touch-someone from the company. File your complaints here: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng They are the LOWEST SCUM in the FRAUD business world, hiding behind a new number every week. If you fall victim, you are the reason these companies exist, to rip you off. A legit company has an address and a traceable phone number, think before you say too much, or just block/screen the number in advance (because I told you so)

It rang the LD tone. I didn't answer. Googled the callers number and arrived at the 800 Notes website. Phone # appears to be an unsolicited business call. The "no call list" with which we are registered does nothing useful.
