I also received a call from 312-912-7179 from a Kendall Wilson - I called back because I couldn't understand what he said. I asked who he was and the name of the company he works for. He was not clear about that and then said I needed to speak with a Emily Freeman (his boss??). Does anyone know who they are - the name of the company they work for. I ask because last year they called my employer and worded message to say I was "under investigation about charges against me". I had absolutely no clue what was going on or who they were or are?

Can anyone advise?

Seems that you need to be filled in.  A point of contact can also mean "a way to contact" as in you may know the person, and or have some affiliation with the suspect.

I received... well rather my mother received a call today from Mr. Kendall Wilson; whom advised her that 2 felony warrants would be issued for my arrest as I owed a company for money.

I contacted Mr. Wilson today numerous times and still haven't gotten any where. He initial said I took out a payday loan for $1483.02 from Cash Net Online on 6/29/2011 and that I wrote a check for Chase Bank. I advised him how the information he was providing was inaccurate; I've never taken out an online loan and have never banked with Chase Bank. After six phone calls of being yelled at, cursed at, degraded... I was finally able to get the original creditors info and made attempts on obtaining a phone number. He advised that I "googled" the company name as he didn't have any information of the company.

I told him I used Google to search "Cash Net" but it doesn't pull up a specific company. I began to read the list of possible companies. He then selected a random name from that list and told me to call them. I then had to laugh at the idea of calling an company who CLEARLY has nothing to do with his call. I even contacted Chase Bank; they confirmed that I have never had an acct with them. I then found Cash Net USA online and asked Mr. Wilson were these the same companies. His response was "I don't know.... call them and see".

How does a company call to collect or advise you of a debt threatening to file charges with the state... when they can't even locate accurate information. After speaking with Chase Bank, Cash Net USA, and the sister company Online Apply Advance... we've all came to the conclusion the "Check Fraud Division" 312-912-7179 is indeed a company obtaining information fraudulently.

Hey stupid! I have gotten these calls when I have NEVER bounced a check or taken a loan. Go back to your cell or boiler room, loser!

Same, an investigator Kendall Wilson is trying to find Scott Edward Lee... no idea as well. Reference as a point of contact? My voice mail obviously states my full name.

I got a call he said he was an investigator and that A woman by the name of Norma K Eaden used me as a point of Contact and he was looking for her.. I have no clue who that is..
