Same thing happened to me. They called my job as well. They said I would be arrested, so I sent 100 dollars. I also reported them to FTC and FBI. I am so glad I found this because I thought I was the only one. Thanks

I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE F.B.I AND THE FEDERAL TRADE ALSO THEY HAVE BEEN HASSELING ME ABOUT A PAYDAY LOAN THAT I DONT HAVE. SOMEHOW THEY HAVE MY SSN AND PHONE NUMBER I AM ALSO OUT OF $200 FOR THIS MESS.

I have been doing some research and apprarently is already in trouble with the Federal Trade Commission.  I called them and let them know that I have contacted the federal trade comission of the united states and they hung up on me.  So I have been calling them everyday.  :)  This is a scam and do not release any personal information on the phone. The number they keep calling me from is 312-948-8934 and I call them just to remind them who they are messing with.  They don't seem to like it very much. They just keep hanging up on me.

They are doing the same thing to me. Saying that my husband will be arrested if we do not make a payment in the next 30 mins.

Been receiving same calls from same man's name and same caller id at my work. What can I do to get them to stop. I do not owe any payday loans. Never received one of these loans.

Received several calls from this number and they state they are from Shepperd Law Firm. They are calling my work number and saying it is very important and if I do not take care of the past pay day loan the officer will come to my home or office and I will be arrested. What can I do to stop these calls. I made the mistake of inquiring into payday loan on line but never was approved or got funds.

Total fraud a mark johnson from shepard law firm called my work same line...i will be arrested on unpaid payday loan..i did hav payday loan but its paid off.this is a scam from india.i don know how they got my information but i believe they got it from the computer when i was applying before.

These people are complete frauds. They call to say they are a law firm representing a loan company. Or a loan I have never taken let alone ever applied for. Its a scam. Please no one feed into this crap. Its a way to scare you into giving them money. Its pretty pathetic how low people get just to get money.

Took report from citizen who called me about a Justin Murphy from Shepard Law Firm in Chicago, IL stating that the citizen would be arrested tomorrow for not paying back a GreenDay, PayDay or SpeedyCash type loan.  Since I would be the one to make the arrest on this citizen in my juristiction and have no knowledge or warrant for this person that this is false and is a scam.

Yes it is a scam! My friend got the same call so I called and asked the name of the law firm they told me sheppard law firm. I looked it up online and called the REAL law firm and they said that these people that are calling are frauds.

Someone called my house 3 times in 5 minutes. The first two times we told them the person they're looking for doesn't live here (relative). The third time I was pissed. Told them not to call again. Guy said his name was James Howard with Shepard law firm and said it is a legal emergency. Came up on caller ID as "Starnet inc"

I got a call right now from 3129488934 saying I got a payday loan from bank of america in 11/12 they had my social security number and address. I called bank america and ask if someone was using my info for a checking account and they checked and said I never had an account with them. Its a scam?

I just got the same call and I never got a loan AND they called my employer is this fake?

keep getting a call from this number saying they are with Sheppard Law Firm, but called my employer and stated this is Officer Greg Brown and looking for me!
