Got the same call.  Said I was a winner from a contest I entered.  Don't remember entering any contest.  They didn't say who they were.  Sounds very fishy.  Wouldn't mind winning but if I respond I have a feeling I will be Loosing!!!!!

I guess I won $25,000 or an SUV! Sweet. Too bad it's not true.

Comcast records and sends you a text message.  Here's their note says:

You have a new Voicemail message from: 312-962-0230.
"Hi this is Richard here with the Price distribution Center calling in regards to the contest that was entered sometime back in hopes of winning a brand-new SUV. Well the contest is officially over we are looking at your entry. We have very good news for ya. What we need you to do is give us a buzz toll free here in the office as soon as possible. The number is 18664303177. Again that's toll free 1866430317704 to hearing from you soon and congratulations."

(I suggest calling 312.962.0230 and then hanging up.)

Just received a phone call from 312-962-0230 Out of Area at 15:45 on Jan. 17, 2012. When the call is answered no one will say anything but they remain on the line. I hung up and returned their call but of course the line stays busy since this is the same aggravating scam artists that call daily with different telephone numbers that do not exist. Most of the time they claim to be a credit card company that can help you get out of debt if you owe over a rediculous amount of money. Their company name NEVER shows up on caller Id and if you redial their telephone number, of course the pre-recorded message says that the number you are trying to call is no longer in service, if you think you reached this number in error please call the operator. These SCAM ARTISTS are using disposable cell phones so their number cannot be traced. When is someone going to step up and bust this ring? How many complaints do we have to report to the Attorney General and the FCC, not to mention the hundreds of complaints on-line? We are all being HARRASSED!

312-962-0230 is a telemarketing company who buys it's names & phone numbers from citibank.

They call my cell and hang up. Very annoying.

I didn't recogonize the number so I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  This came on my cell #. All my phones are on the DNC list. I've had it with these idiots trying to waste my cell minutes. arggggg

Got called twice this week, once last week.  I texted them to stop calling me.  Hope they get charged for texts if it is a cell phone.

Prize/contest hoax

This number calls 3-4 times a week, and when I answer, they hang up.

This the Lincoln Navigator prize giveaway scam. A man named "Bill from the Price Distribution Center" left me a message 06/13/08 8:43PM stating that the contest I had entered a while ago (no specifics) was over, they had good news, wanted me to give him a buzz back. The number on my caller ID was 312-962-0230 with "unavailable" as the name, but the number they wanted me to call back was 800-996-0081.

I didn't call back as A) I was pretty sure I hadn't entered any such contest; and B) with the price of gas, I'm better off with my 1995 Geo Prizm (paid for, low taxes).

I received the same info today as Bernadette Pesce did on June 14, 2008. Could this be a jaded judging agency employee? Weird, to say the least. This 312 area code was a local call for me.

Didn't pick up, no message. Call ID came up "jeffrey laundy."

Received two calls from the same number, same scam message.  I haven't returned the calls and don't remember entering any contest.  Obviously a scam.

I have gotten two calls from this number recently and both times they have hung up.  Annoying and rude.

I received the same Message as Fred with the 800 number. Is there a way to report them?

Same Lincoln Navigator scam reported above.  Someone called me three seperate times from 312-952-0230 and hung up when I answered.  Today I let it go to voicemail and "Bill" left a mesage saying he had good news about a contest I entered to win a Navigator and to call him in the office at 800-301-3436.

I received the same call today from 312-962-0230.  I received the same message...that I had entered a contest within the last two months for a Lincoln Navigator and that they had good news for me if I called back at 800-996-0081.  They didn't leave a name, however, but they said they are reviewing my "application"...
