I keep getting a call on my cell phone from this number and they don't leave a message.

THIS NUMBER CALLS EVERYDAY AND DOES NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE

i got a call from them on 6/25/08 @ 6:41pm, 7/6/08 @ 1:42pm, and now 7/08/08 @ 7:37pm.  i missed all 3 calls.  this is a chicago number and i'm in california.  i am a wamu customer but i doubt that they would call my cellphone.  i'm glad that i found this site.  please if someone has a resolution to block them, post it here.  Thanks!

July 17, 2008: Called around 7:46 pm on my cell phone (Verizon, if it matters). I was in class and didn't pick up. I'm also in CA, found out the area code was Chicago and decided to look this up. I hope they don't call back.

Don't even do business with Wamu. This has to be someone phishing.

They called my cell phone.  I sure don't want to pay for incoming telemarketing calls.

they called me today @ 12:50PM on my cell! i didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

this is getting out of control.. I added my number to their do not call..I am already on the national do not call (how did they get away with calling anyhow??) and still...  they call.. don't talk.. don't leave messages.. just call.. any ideas on what to do next??W

I am getting the same phone number on my cell phone.  I don't have any relatives in that area and don't know anyone in that area code.  They never leave a message.

I rather them update thier list and remove all the ones on the national do not call list.

They called my 14 yo daughter's cell phone. How they got the number or what they want, I don't know as they don't bother to leave a message. I have filed a complaint via their website and the BBB in Florida.

Yeah, these j-off's are calling me at WORK on my cell phone. I just sent 'em right to voicemail and, of course, they leave nothing for a message. Losers.

i called back and the message says they do not take incoming calls they are an outbound call center who doesn't sell anything just does marketing research, you can call their corp number and request to be taken off or just answer the phone and tell them you don't want to take part.

First call was Friday, second on Saturday, and a third a few minutes ago...  Has anyone had any luck eradicating these pests?

Just got a call from these clowns. I doubt they are even in the US. Probably using a Vonage account.

FRAUD!!!ALERT!!!!!!

Said they were from Washington Mutual and asked for someone that does not live here.  Alot of background noise.

Answered the call and heard nothing but background noise...guess they really didn't want to talk to me.

Called @6pm PST tonight, no message.  I live above a WAMU branch so I may ask them about it in the morning.

Just got a call (2:45pm PST) asking to complete a questionnaire for "WAMU (now JP Morgan Chase)".  Very persistent in trying to get me to complete the questionnaire.  

I mentioned, I might partake in the questionnaire if I could call WAMU directly and complete it w/ a trusted phone number, but I'm not answering any questions or confirming any information over the phone when I've been cold called.

Consumer beware.  Seemed quite shady.

SYNOVATE DOES MARKET RESEARCH, AND MARKET RESEARCH IS EXEMPT FROM THE DNC LISTS. ON TOP OF THAT IF ITS WAMU, AUDI, HYUNDAI, TOYOTA, ETC THEY HAVE LEGAL RIGHT TO CALL YOU SINCE TOY GAVE THEIR COOPORATION YOUR PHONE NUMBER.  IF U WANT TO BE REMOVED TELL THE COMPANY OR CALL THE 1800 NUMBER LISTED HERE AND ASKED TO BE REMOVED.

Synovate 312-962-4680 has been calling my home everyday for a few days.  They call 3 times a day and NEVER leave a message.  Now I know who they are.  My husband have never banked with WAMU and we don't have a credit card through them!!!

The outgoing message on my answering machine says, "If this is a solicitation, I'm on the "do not call" list..." and they usually don't leave a message, which was the case with this call.

They called my cell, and asked for me, but pronounce my name wrong - so I said "this is a cell number, and you are not supposed to call my cell for telemarketing call", and I hang up on them... who the he_l are they?

Called saying they were conducting a survey from WAMU, I politely declined, they then got pushy saying "Don't you want better service from WAMU" Told him I would be reporting this number as a scam call and hung up.

they called me yesterday.  sounded fishy because how did they know i'm a wamu customer?

Keep calling for unknown reason.  I never pick it up.
