I called this number back and the recording states it is the state of MI F.O.P. They are seeking donations, you can be taken off the call list by calling back and pressing #1 when the recording tells you to.

oh also wanted to mention if you call the number back you get a recording that asks if you want to take your number off their call lists  . . . now I didn't do that so Im not sure if you are then re-routed to an actual sales person or if they do just actually take your phone number off their call list.

This is ridiculous! Don't people have anything better to do then annoy hardworking Americans?  Sick the calls from this number.  I have boys in the military stationed out of the country so I answer calls from numbers I don't recognize hoping to hear my sons voice.  Sick b*****ds.

yeah they say its for Michigan Fraternal order of police but another number they use is 313 265 2873 and I actually have no clue if its legit or not but I do know you are actually getting a call from the Corporation for Character who claims to be acting on behalf of the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police and like I said that could very well be the case I don't know . . . but I do know that the corporation for character is either an affiliate or a subsidiary for this other company "Feature Films for Families" which creates and promotes films whose core focus is strong family values . . . all good stuff but man you get on their phone list and it follows you they are persistant in seeking donations and selling these films even if you answer and definitively say "No Thank You" they don't stop but I still think their trying to do something for the greater good if I was a millionaire I'd give them money just to get them to stop calling LOL

This # calls every week, somestimes more than once a week. FOP it says on call back. Anyone can say they that they are FOP or anyone else. Please don't fall for this!!!!

Just got home. A message was left on the landline that I don't answer about my voluntary donation. I didn't make one. That phone has been on the do not call list for 3 years. Frat Ord Police is where the call came from. It's all crap. ATT and the state of Michigan will be getting another complaint.

Does anyone know who calls from this phone number.

Been getting calls from this number for about two weeks now. Caller ID just reads, "Detroit." No message is ever left so I have no idea what they want.

As usual, I get a call, I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  They do not leave message.  I guess it is not important.  I get anywhere from 2 to 8 calls a day like this.  Annoyed, but it has just become standard operating procedure and I just keep moving on.  Big sigh...
