Keeps calling, doesn't leave a message.

I have verified the 336-393-7010 number as american express.  If you don't have an amex I would suggest you find out if someone opened one on your behalf.

Just got a call and no message.

A person called me and told me that I didn't pay my bill last month and ask me my card #, that made i knew it was a scam phone call!!!!

You are very smart. They called me and I did the same thing: call American Express # on the back of my card and reported the scam phone to American Card to investigate.

I called AMEX back using the number on the back of my card, not the number they left...........SCAM.   Even tho the caller ID said amerex, its not amex.

Caller Id says SBC Midwest TOF calls 3-4 times no message. Also American Express caller Id 336 393 7010 don't have a card from American Express!

2 or 3 times a day who's number is this anyway....

Male caller asked for me by name. Since I've had other weird calls I asked "who's calling"? I got silence, heard something that sounded like background noise and or recording, then silence and hang up.

Had call yesterday from American Express 'fraud department' asking about authorized charges etc. which somebody did use my charge number without my knowledge, and my secretary had card cancelled so this could possibly have been a call from them, however, yesterday when Amex called me it was from "800 Service" 800-824-9289.

getting calls repeatedly. no message. I picked up and no none was there.

call my cell phone and no message, I do not answer any unknown calls. Not sure who is calling me...?

I got calls from 3233200568 and 6234926031 many times recently. No message. I don't have an amex.

I got during the last 2 days calls from 313-320-0568 (showing AMERICAN EXPRES), 623-492-6031 (showing ARIZONA),  and 336-393-7010 (showing NORTH CAROLINA). They asked if my name is the one who was the previous owner of my phone number, but then in one case hang up on me. I have my phone number over 15 years. Obviously a fake, using AMEX.

Definitely American Express. I am late on a payment.

It's annoying...they call & leave no msg.  If it's Amex, that's weird - I don 't even have an amex card???

Yep, me too. They've been calling for days, never leave a message, and I don't pick up unless I know who's calling. Caller ID just says "800 Service."
