Just rec'd same call from a lady who seemed to be a bit confused, sounded like reading from a script.  I have rec'd many of these calls lately threatening to put me in jail, etc. all of which I know are scams.  I don't believe any court or law enforcement agency is going to call and 'warn' you in advance!!!!!!!  Was a little unnerving this time as she had my name.

This is a different phone # being used by some sort of collection agency threatening that a suit has been filed against me.  Most of the message had not recorded properly, but it was stated that this was my final notification regarding my case #.  Interesting, since I was giving the same spiel yesterday from a Ms. Spencer  from Consolidated  using the phone # 877-210-2181 who called me after her associate Adrian Jones had called me about that earlier that day and the day before.  I'm pretty sure whoever these people(company) are is that they are trying to collect on an old debt that they bought off another company or it's a scam to get money out of you.  They have a variety of "scare tactics". Don't give them any information.

I called them back on magic jack. It only went through when I called through the computer. They didn't pickup. A recording gave  the number 1-800-365-1632. I called that number. Listen to the options. Then you opt out. I hope this helps.

This phone number is still being used as the "Michigan Police Officers Association".

The man who called this evening said that he was calling for the local police department.( inasmuch as it was 313 area code I knew that it was not local)
I told him that I didn't believe him and he got belligerent.  I asked for his badge number and he informed me that he was not a policeman but was calling in their behalf. I told him again that I didn't believe him. He started sputtering some rant, really fast & loud - so  I hung up.

Based on the previous reports I expect that he or his associate will call again.

Got a call a t8:15 pm from this number. Fast talker stating that it was the police officers association wanting to let me know of what they have to offer, He caught me off guard while I was in the middle of something so I told him to go to heck and hung up. These telemarketers are getting slick, throwing us off guard by calling us by our first names when we answer and having no name that goes along with their number. I have children in the 313 area codes who use only cell phones and that's what got me to answer. I now intend to let numbers I don't recognize go to the answering machine. Like everything else these days its getting bad.

The caller claimed to be from the Police Officers  Assoc.  hawking money for widows and orphans of Police officers killed in the line of duty.  He wanted my credit card numbers for a donation.  What ever happened to the "DO NOT CALL LIST"????????????

No phone calls, but did get *SEVEN* emails from various names (email address is always different but body of the message is always the same) within two days stating how we coulddo better with a degree and to "call today for a diploma".....this phone number was given in every email.

Do not call my number anymore. I do not answer calls unless I know who is calling. I put myself on the don't call list. Sure did not do any good did it?

I am on the "Do Not Call List" and I don't see that it's doing any good. Tonight I got a new call from 313-334-3474 at 8:16 P.M. The answering machine picked up and all I could hear was some comotion in the background. I guess I don't have to say they didn't leave a message. I get more crank calls than regular calls

The call came to me 3x in 3 days, when I answered and after a brief stutter, a young, early 20's Afro-American gal stated she was calling from the Michigan Police, 2009 Decal Drive. I'm a reserve officer, I support a lot of Law Enforcement opportunities. But this one, THEY NEVER CALL IN THIS MANNER! When I asked the young women what address she has for me, she hung up. RED FLAG!

So, I've just finished a phone call with the MI State Police. This is a scam, When we call the number, 313-334-3474, we get a rapid busy response. You're getting this too right? This is due to the number being "Forwarded to a new number. Scam Artists, Con Artists, and simple Scumbags use this trick. The Detectives advice to me, we need to report this to our news papers, or news stations. Again, this is a scam.

After some silence the caller asks for my husband and when I say he isn't here the caller hangs up.

Calls from 313-334-3474  are made from Hamtramck in Wayne County, Detroit MI.

We got a call from this number saying it was 'Greg Allen' and when asked from where he said 'greg allen'.
we hung up.

When this person calls from this number, whenever I answer, it get's hung up. VERY annoying.

Received a call from (313) 334-3474 but was not at home at the time of the call.  The answering machine message is just heavy breathing for about 10 seconds then a hang up.

Just got a call from this number -- asked for my husband but when I asked who was calling he refused to answer and said it was a public awareness activity and then he hung -- sounded like a young black male.

I still get calls.  But I don't answer unless I recognize the number.

I remember years ago the Police went on the news here in Detroit to let people know that they DO NOT solicit donations over the phone this way.

received five calls.  I called back and it said DCS and would be recorded.

Remember in google you can get anyones name and phone number even if its not published so be carefule.

Ive received this call and I dont answer it, Id advise you not to.  Being a Police Officer I know this is a bogus number possibly from the prison so that they can use your number to pay for there collect calls.
"Do not answer this number".  if you do check your phone bill later and if you have a collect call on it notify your carrier.
