Gonna keep trying. Just started a new petition at http://wh.gov/7DEt 100,000 is a lot of signatures but these scum make millions of calls every day. The drone thing is a bit of humor and to get some interest. I do not condone the drone program being used as judge and jury in any way!

I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.
But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:

Getting the usual "lower your credit card interest" but wait there is good news "This is my final opportunity" for the umpteenth time!
Who Called 2013-02-13 22:17:05 Telemarketer
The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com
In their own words: 'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'
You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.
What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/robocalls
1. Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
2. Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone
3. Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
4. Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
5. People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office
6. Report any criminal activity to the FBI here: https://tips.fbi.gov
Register your phone numbers online at http://www.donotcall.gov or call (888) 382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).
There is a blog site that has information on one of these operations: http://telemarketerspam.wordpress.com
Please read the blog and report violations to the proper authorities.

Dumb. Don't every press 1 it could be a reverse charge. It tells caller "the phone is live and someone is answerable at that time." AND it will not matter. They will continue to call. This isn't your grandma's phone system! The spoof, scam, phish and generally just try to F-you over. Just Don't Answer Number you don't know.
PS. This does not tie up their lines. I can give you 1000's of lines. No big deal these days. People work them on commission have auto dialers and nothing better to do.

I get lots of these types of calls from all kinds of numbers. I say you want to talk to my Dad (I'm 73} Just a minute I'll get him and put the phone down. When I hear the tone I hang it up. Tehy don't call back for a few days
Tom 2013-02-09 23:26:11 Unknown
It's very difficult to identify where the "card services scammers are calling from because they use all spoofed (false) numbers. As reported in the Oct-Nov AARP Bulletin the 'people" (creatures) "employed" as telemarket scammers are mainly drug addicts trying to rip folks off to pay for their habit. When you're dealing with the lowlifes of society the language they use is to be expected. If they weren't so vile I'd pity them.

They only make 4 bucks per phone call in their dreams. The losers you get to speak to on the phone get a (small) percentage of the money they can scam out of you. Even if you fall for the scam, most of the money goes to the people behind the scenes organizing it.
Mike Gault 2013-02-09 18:56:06 Unknown
I want to be removed from your call list.

This is a re-post that explains vary well: This is just one of a series of scams perpetrated by fraudsters. The do not get your number from strippers but rather just robo call (the computer calls every combination of numbers - ie, "even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.") I've given them the number from a voided debit card and kept them on the phone for a long time (wasteing both our times) until they get frustrated and start threatening me. I think they are wise to me now and are just calling to harass me since they hang up when I give them the phoney CC number. I also don't think this is a spoofed number but rather a 'one-way' number, outbound calls only. If it were spoofed, it would be a different number each time (BTDT.) I was a credit card fraud investigator for 16 years for a major issuer and know these scams well. I like to mess with them because I know how hard it is to find them and prosecute them.

I receive calls from this number and two others approx. twice a week. The phone rings and it is a recorded message regarding a credit card about to expire... I do not have credit cards so I know it's a scam. The recording says press #1 to find out more. When I press #1 and ask which company it is, they hang up. If you call back, the number is not in service. The call I just received was from the same company, different #. I pressed #1 and I told the person not to hang up and to put me on their no call list. I was told, " Fuc* you Bi***... you didn't ask nicely so I won't put you on the list. Then I was told I could, "suc* my di**.. I was a f****n* w***e... go ahead and try to find out where I am.... on and on... I am so pissed. I will do anything to find out who they are and who he was.
There are 3 numbers they call from
770-733-7690, 313-347-8168 and 251-725-1770.... Help me find them....
Greg 2013-02-08 03:17:06 Unknown
