Impersonating DEA agents again

I believe this a marketing company. auto gennerated call to entice you to  reurn the call
thus bypassing the "NO CALL" list because their records will show that you intitiated the call when you call to see whot you missed!.

i got a call from a 313 number very similar to the number and it left a voicemail it was just crackling anyone have same experiance

I am one of the "suckers" who thought the call was from Consumers Energy , Jackson, MI and unfortunately gave them the DOB #. Have reported this to Consumers' Energy and will continue to try to have this cancelled. When I tried to call them back the recorded message was: "Thank you for calling. If you want us to put you on the no call list, press 1."  About 5 or 6 seconds later it hangs up.  The object here is to avoid any possibility to cancel as it now becomes impossible to speak to a live person during call back. They know that I have 30 days to cancel, but they make it impossible to call back to a live person!  Then it appears that they post the switch over after 30 days.  Very deceitful!

I've received multiple calls over the past few days. It might be for an alternate energy company. It's an automated message with no option for being removed from their "list." This is getting annoying fast.

Get repeated calls daily.  Help center Customer service. We are in late 70's and hate to run to get these calls.

Just received a call from this same number. My answering machine takes over and they don't leave a message. They do however call numerous times per day. Annoying..

Calls 2 or 3 times weekly, usually no message sometimes requests donation for false charity. Detriot city scam council.

I don't pick up unknown calls. this one left no message.

Its an Energy Company...probably trying to steal business away from DTE/Comsumers Power. They wont give a company name when asked and claim that they are not making a sales call????? They dont like to be yelled at..oh well guess they shouldnt have called me!!! :-)

I have 17 of these calls in the last 2 months I have recall back and ask to be take of vthere list they say within 24 hours I will be remove I think that a group of us should together and sue this company

Why do I need to be wasting my time sitting on hold for there call, that called me. Just to tell them NOT to call this number again. I dont even have consumers gas. I have propane!!!!!!!!!

Received this call this morning - recorded message stating they are from Consumers Energy to give me discount on my gas bill - press one to be connected - hung up because when would consumers ever call you to save you money, right?  Called consumers & they said its probably a discounter trying to get your business.  Was given the Michigan Public Service # to call - without an actual company name they can't do anything - gave me the Attorney General's # - they too can't do anything without an actual company, so here is where I ended up.  If you do find out the name of the company, you can contact the Attorney General's Office @ 877-765-8388 - & then they can go after the company - especially since they stated to me they were Consumers & they're not.

these calls are increasing and to be honest they all seem to be coming from the same company, card services as they all seem to be using the same format. It rings only three times so as not to trigger the answering machine and if you do answer then there is a delay as the computer that did the calling tries to find someone to take the call. Best advice is that you just don't answer the call if number is not recognized but if you want to have some fun, then anwer and then pretend that you cannot her them. They talk louder and you say Hello louder. Mutter, Damn phone and hang up. I have had some sucess with that

This caller has an automated message to push 3  stating I may qualified for a "better rate" on my gas bill.  The message said to get my last gas bill ready and someone would be with me asap.  Held on for awhile, no one answered.  Looked up number on line since I don't know anyone in Detroit, and found it was a bogus call.  Not sure what the scam is, but they did want my last gas bill.  Not sure what they would do with it.  Didn't call them back.

This call came in stating I can change the "rates" on my gas bill .. to hold the line and get my last bill ready when they answer.

Nicole from "Discount Dept" originated this call to my home when I have registered Do Not Call.

When asked why she is calling me, she said "have you not heard of deregulation?"

I replied, "have you not heard of Do not call?"

She abruptly hung up.

Energy company trying you to switch over from Consumers Energy to their company at a lower price. It's a scam looking for suckers don't do anything.

Automated call stating I can get lower rates on my Consumer's Gas bill.  Needed to press '0' for more info, but did not do it.  Second call in two days.

Keep getting hang up calls. Do not know anybody in that area code.

I got a call from 313-355-5259 the other night. It was a company, never did get their name, asking me to have my consumers energy bill in front of me.  I asked the person at LEAST 5 times if they were calling FROM consumers and got some pretty interesting no answer answers.  I finally figured out that it appeared to be one of those energy companies that screw low income consumers and hung up, after telling them that I am on the federal do not call list.  I'm on hold right now to report to the ag.

Called earlier today and let the answering machine pickup (since I don't know any one from Detroit). As usual it rang 3 times and left no message. I figure if it was legit, the name of the person/business/organization would show up on caller ID instead of origin of call or any other bogus info. that shows up on it. Besides if it was truly important, they would've left a message.

Called today. Didn't leave a message. Upon seeing the message above that it is a scam, I did not pick up.
