I get the same calls you all are getting.

I've been getting these calls for about a month now.  They call day and night.  I never answer -- I have caller

cause at least I know who it is.  It is the most irritating problem because I am a caregiver for my husband
He is bedbound and we aren't able to leave our home except to go for doctor appointments and I have cancer.  We need peace and quiet in our home.  We're also constantly invaded with telemarketer phone calls.
Our homes are suppose to be our castle--HOME SWEET HOME-- where we can unwind and relax--but they won't let us.  If I could do without a phone I surely would,but in our situation of course we can't and we should not have to pay for extra services to solve this problem.  THE DO NOT CALL LIST IS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP>  WHAT A JOKE THEY ARE>   HELP US ALL--WHY HASN'T SOMETHING BEEN DONE ABOUT THIS?????  WE'RE ALL STRESSED ENOUGH BECAUSE OF THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS>

I read below that this is the Duke Energy scam. I don't answer these calls. They call from lots of different numbers from all over the US. Apparently, the phone scam they can't catch up with the people. We've been getting these calls for months, there's no way to stop it. I pick up the phone and set it back down to quit having to hear it ring. Thank goodness for caller ID. As far as the do not call list goes, that law gets broken daily and people complain and nothing gets done. I suppose no one looks after the do not call list. Complaints to their website are useless on any number not only scams. But beware folks, these scams on Duke Energy, people will actually come to your house, usually some young male, unprofessionally dressed, and ask to see your Duke energy bill. Refuse!!! Then call the police. The police want these people and will pick them up. Or you can tell them to wait at the door OUTSIDE with your door locked, make them think you're going to get your bill and call 911 and tell them it's the Duke Energy scam. Hopefully by now, all states with Duke Energy, their law enforcement is aware of this. It's been on the news also.

I get these calls 3 or 4 times a day. I've just been ignoring them, but they don't stop. i'm going to have my carrier block this number.

I have received SIX calls so far today. They say that they are from Duke Energy. Perhaps they need a life?

How to stop this caliing. I need help...

They call EVERY DAY, SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!!  Either they hang up or I get a recording.  Lately it just hangs up every time.  How do I make it stop???

These a-holes keep calling over and over about our Duke Energy bill.  But, Duke is NOT our energy provider!

Calling multiple times per day. Pushed 1 to speak to the "representative" and told her to remove me from their call list, and was told "nope!"

Obviously a scam and not going to respond to anything other than blocking the number.

You will have to call the number, act as your grandmother, and demand that her number be removed from their lists. Good luck getting them to actually do it though. I have called the number and gotten ahold of their representatives. When I say I want my phone number removed from their list, they promptly hang up on me. Try filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. They can't respond to you personally but they do investigate complaints. The sad thing is this place could just change their phone number and start doing this same thing again. I understand your frustration. I get several calls a day from these bozos!

I get these calls several times a day.  Have always hung up or just not answered.  This time I hit the button to speak to a rep and the call disconnected.

started calling here multiple times yesterday saying noting. calls recevied up to 8 pm.
just called today 2/26 at 9:40 am saying nothing.

This number calls at least 2 times a day.  It appears on call ID as DETROITZN1,MI.  When you answer, it disconnects.  This is very annoying.

I called back and chose "1" to be put on their do not call list. Message didn't identify who they were. Said to allow 24 hours to be taken off the list. We'll see.

I am so tired of these people calling me. First it was about switching electric company and now they don't say anything at all.

Does it seem that these spam/scam phone attacks are hitting cell phones more and more? That is not to say that these creeps have slacked off with the old land line connections. Still, over the last three years that I've been following comments here at 800notes, the swing towards attacks on cell phones has been inescapable.

This number calls 1 to 4 times a day.  Do not leave message if I do not answer and If I answer they hold the phone and listen to me trying to answer and I ask them if they are not going to talk to take me off of their calling list. Caller ID says it is DETROITZN1.MI (I think it is a ZN1 but may be a ZNI)

I have a health problem that makes it a challenge to get to phone and answer.  Just wish someone could could put a stop to this.

Get several calls a day from this number. It hangs up when you answer.

When you tell them to remove you they hang up. Called 4 times today and at lest 3 times every day for the lst week.

I am also getting calls from this number in Detroit to Cincinnati, OH, 4x a day . I have held open the line but nothing happens then the call hangs up. I believe this is a call to get me to switch from my current utility company.

I get the same calls everyday. Today I called the number back. A recording asked me if I wanted to be put on the do not call list. I pressed 1 to be put on the do not call list. Hopefully this works
