Never mind. Apparently it's really easy to get your name from phone # - just type the phone # into Facebook and they have your name/profile photo/anything else public.

I really want to know where they are getting names from?

I got a message from this number like the rest of you. They used my name and tried to get me to talk on yahoo IM. They said they were txtwoman90. This is messed up.

received a text, with ( Hello NAME ) replied back, never received anything back, so right away google the number and here we all are...   SPAM

I received the text, "Hello Jessica!!", from this phone number. Since my phone is the pay as you go type, I didn't think my name or any of my personal information would be linked to it. After I sent a reply, "Yes?", I looked up the # and sure enough a scammer.. Haven't received a text back but a little lost as to how my info is tied to a Walmart phone w/ no contract that is paid in cash...

Tighten up the security on your accounts and don't click unknown links.  If they've told you their Yahoo ID, report it to Yahoo abuse.

receive a text from this number that said "Hello (my name)??" I replied with Hi, who's this? then they wrote "haha if you wanna know who this is you got to add me to yahoo msger. my name is textieflirty6" I replied not worth it to me.  It is however worth it for me to report this non sense...GROW UP!

Received a text too from this number.  Asked who it was, never reply.  From looking this number up, looks like spam.  I agree, very sad that people knowingly violate peoples privacy, and the law.

Received text from this#.  Replied that this was the wrong number ad I immediately received a msg saying that if I wanted to know who this is I would have to add textieflirter56 to Y!msngr. I requested to have my number removed.  It's sad when people knowingly choose to violate privacy.
