received a txt on my cell phone from 313-452-7598 with the following message:
'CSCU ALERT: Your CARD starting with [4 numbers] has been DEACTIVATED. Please call 734-612-87509" This came in on my cell phone on 1/5/2011 at 9:02 p.m.

This just happened to me too. The four digits did not line up with any of my cards (thankfully!).

I received the same call and so did my husband. Our numbers are 1 away from each other. SUPER BAD

I just got the same message. I reported it online at the Detroit police citizen tip line. I love putting the word out on these scam artists.

January 6, 2011 at 8:14 p.m. I received a text message telling me some credit card I don't have had been deactivated and I should call 313-452-7598. SCAM...SCAM...SCAM

My dad recieved this a couple of weeks ago and we found out it is a scam, and I received the same exact text message tonight. scam scam scam

Received a text message from this number telling me my credit card had been deactivated and to call a (734) number. Obviously a scam.
