Here's my question for you--what was the person's name at the other end of the line?

It's just that I got a call today from a United Mediations in Michigan.  I did a reverse phone number, and it's a landline in Detroit, Michigan.

Received a call from 313-925-3209. Threatened to have me arrested with a felony warrant wanting $890.00 by 7pm. So glad I found this site!!!

I receieved a call from 313- 483-370 today. Saying I had a state of california complaint, & I was to be arrestrd yada yada. Funny thing is, is that I recieved a call with the same threatening voice mail from Tennessee. I had to look this up, & glad I did cause this seems to be scam central.

Any clue where this is from?

Again, got another call from this number today!  The same lady that left me msg yesterday,  said I committed fraud and it was a felony and they would be "turning over my paperwork" if I didn't comply!!!  She then put me on hold to get a "compliance officer", I was on hold (as I was hearing the music play)  Then was hung up on before anyone could get back on phone with me!!  I have had enough of the threats and BS that this company is doing!! They are FRAUDS themselves!!!!!  Won't be answering anymore calls or returning any calls to this effed up place!!!  But WILL be reporting them to the atty general of my state!!!

Hello All, I received the same call this morning a little after 8am EST. I don't remember the name of the woman who I spoke with first but she only asked to confirm my DOB-which she had correct. Then she puts me on hold for the so-called "compliance officer". He then says his name is Tom & I committed fraud & will be arrested if i don't settle this matter.  Now I do owe a check cashing place but have made payments on the check.  He informed me that I owed 3times what my original amount was.  I told him because I acknowledged the debt & actually paid on it, it is not considered fraud. I argued this point with him & he had the nerve to hang up on me. I called back & got an address, a PO BOX # 33171, Detroit,  MI 48232. The number that was on my caller id was 13137694065. I will be reporting this as well.  TIRED OF THE THREATS!!!!

I too, today, received a phone call from a "Diane Chase" stating that I had 10 days to return her call to take care of a "complaint" that had been filed against me.  Really no further info given than that, other than the phone number listed here.  THEN they called a family member and scared them half to death, saying that this was now 2 felonies and that they could take care of it IF I sent them a certain amount of money!!  Other wise I was going to be arrested and it would be FEDERAL charges!!!  A James Powers is the person who got on the phone with my family member, after Diane Chase made the orginal call to my family member, and told them the company name was Unified Mediations, as well!  I am going to be reporting this number and the names and company name to my state attorney general...this is going way to far!!!  As other people have said here on this post, THIS IS A SCAM!!!  They scare you to no end, just to get you to send them money!!  DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY, NOR GIVE YOUR FIANANCIAL INFO TO ANYONE!!!

I received a call (rudely might I aDD) from a Diane Chase from Unified Mediations @ 313-456-9497 with the "STATE OF CA" stating that I too was listed as an emergency contact.. I called back acting AS a family member to see what exactly this was all about.  However, DIANE was unavailable and in a meeting. The person that helped me told me that they were looking for me regarding fraud charges and that once they generated a claim number there's no turning back then they would proceed to send out a warrant for my arrest.  Ha I knew it was a scam all along because the phone number isn't even a CA number. Dumb crooks!!!!

I got a call this morning from family members saying that a Diane Chase is looking for me.  When i researched the number provided - i found that there are several reports on that number. "Diane" would not give the name of the  company in which she was calling for. HHHMMM???
So I called the Atty General's office and reported it.  They informed me that several people have called and reported this issue. Do NOT give out any of you current financial info as far as credit/debit cards to pay a "past bill".  It's a scam! I repeat...IT'S A SCAM....

I just received a phone call from this exact same number with a message from Diane Chase, saying I was listed as an emergency contact for a particular person, and (in a very firm voice), told me she needed a return call to her "direct office" (with the number you have posted) immediately.  So, I was just trying to see where 313 area code was, came up with Detroit, MI, then google United Mediations, and your entry came up....Pffft, like I'm going to call her back...thank you for posting to give notice to this SCAM!!!!

I got a similar call. Mine was supposedly with ace checking cashing. Called ace and no record of me in their system. I think these people are scam artists. Don't make the mistake by sending them anything.

Yesterday I received a call from 3 family members, relaying a message that United Debt Holdings was needing to talk to me ASAP concerning a paday advance loan back in 2008 at Check 'n Go in California. I received a message from Paula/United Debt Holdings to call back asap. So, I called back and no luck getting through. Today, called back and spoke with Diane Chase. This phone number, 313-456-9497 appeared on caller id as Hal Harding Unified Mediations. Since, I did a phone reversal and company name search online and no company (Hal Harding Unified Mediations) such exists and number only showed up as a landline number in Detroit MI. They had quite a bit of info about me and told me that they've been trying to get hold of me since 2008. The threatened me...if I don't get the money to them by 10am ET next morning via money transfer, then they would proceed to send to court and a warrant would be out for my arrest. I asked for a copy of the check and something in writing. She said she had to turn over my file by tomorrow if I didn't pay. She also said that they had tried to get hold of me and refused to wait to receive payment. So, I plan to contact Check 'n Go tomorrow morning and run my credit report tonight to see if there is a debt such as this on my report.  if its a true debt, I'm more than happy to pay. It's odd how coincidental it is that United Debt Holdings has been setting up false business names and accompanying phone numbers (in CO, ILL, WA, etc), just as this one...but now in Detroit MI....hmmm...I've also read the consumers rights when it comes to our rights and what the collection agency is rightfully able/not able to do...well, this is sounding a bit suspicious to me. If/when I find more out about this situation, I will post an update. If anyone has heard of this happening to them, please post. Thank you.
