These people will call a few times a day, no matter how many times I tell them not to call anymore. Often times when I pick up the phone to cuss them out, there is no answer on there end. They are not affiliated with DTE and are very shady in there techniques. This must be a scam.

I got this call about my gas bill. I live in a low income "Electric" ran apartments. In the upper penisula of MI. How are they getting this info and odviously they do not do their homework.

I keep recieving calls from this number. I have told them to take me off thier list. They keep calling and they won't leave a message either. It's very disruptive.

Receieved a call from this number stating they would reduce Consumer Energy bill. He didn't give a reason why they would reduce the bill & stated clearly that there are no contracts  & expected me to provide details from the bill - which I did not (luckily).

Received numerous calls from the same telemarketer with a promise to save money on my gas bill! The only problem is that I do not have a gas bill acct, when I told them that I did not have a gas bill account they hung up.  I feel as if this is a scam! This same number have called my phone numerous times, when I answer I get no response.  I am on the do not call list. I have asked them not to call back but I continue to get the calls.

Yet another one of the annoying 'Would you like to save money on your gas bill' aggressive salesman, that keep calling everyday no matter how many times you tell them your not interested.  I believe it to be a scam, but even IF it wasn't i wouldn't do business with companies with marketing strategies such as this.  They are NOT from DTE, but will say they are when asked, they will not tell you where they are from if you ask.  The only response i ever got is when i asked them if they were from DTE.

Unsolicited telemarking is the absolute worst way to get my business especially when your claims and marketing techniques are fraudulent. I get calls from all over the damn country about my gas bill and its annoying.  If you get a call from these people.. don't trust them.
