JUST GOT A NEW CELL PHONE/NUMBER 2ND CALL I'VE GOTTEN FROM THIS NUMBER. I DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN NUMBERS SO IT GOES TO VOICEMAIL. THEY LEAVE THE SAME CRYPTIC MESSAGE AND IT IS ALWAYS CUT OFF HALFWAY.

I HAVE A PAY AS YOU GO PHONE-ARE THESE THE TYPES TARGETED?

They call demanding to talk to someone who does not live with me and I have told them this many times to no avail.

Has been calling for a year looking for Mark Walterby.  I finally was around when he called and answered, he was rude, wouldn't tell me who he was, insisted that he talked to this person at this number and kept asking me for a forwarding number and would not take no for an answer.

They called and got really nasty when I didn't identify myself.  It was the ever efficient Eric White.  I cannot believe the same dude calls everyone, so if he won't be honest why should I tell him who he is talking to?

I am checking all my accounts and do not think i am behind on anything..  So what gives?

I have family from Saint Louis witch is a 314 area code so I answered. I answered and no response. Who ever it is keeps calling and wont talk. I call the number back and I refuse to identify myself. They won't tell me anything about them.

This number calls and hangs up when I answer.

This caller said his name was Eric White.  Sure, and I'm SNOW White (no relation).  Wanted someone else in here but would only talk to them.  Wait. Eric would talk to me if we were related, like married.  How would he know the truth?  I could say anything!  He did say he would keep calling back.

I called back and another person said he'd stepped out of the office, no return time available.  Awwww.  I weely wanted to tawk to hims.  So I asked this lady if this was Capital Accounts, a collection agency.  She got real dumb - no answer.  The number used was 314-259-1240.

I got a call this morning from this number from a Ron Wilson. He left me a message asking to speak to me or my ex husband. I have been divorced for  a year now. He gave me a 1-800 # to call him back but I did not.

Chris Smith called me and told me he needed to talk to me about something I was involved in that I may not even be aware of.  Gave me a 1 800 number to call him back on.  Didn't but googled it instead. :D

I got a call about some "great news" when I returned the call, some guy picked up and started demanding that I give them their name without even introducing himself as a representative for Capital Accounts.  It took punching in the 2 phone numbers they used to report it.

This person called my cell saying they talked to me about a bill I said I would pay the bill but they said it could only be paid by credit card or by check when I told them I've been a victim of ID theft and would only pay by money order they hung up and would not answer when I called back

enough already!!!

They just called my cell phone and didn't say anything. They've been calling me for weeks now, and this is just rediculous.

Chris Smith - recorded message keeps calling and calling - how do you get rid of this guy???

Got a voice mail from this number today, cut off in the beginning and saying they got some GREAT NEWS for me.

I got a call from them when I was in school aswell, I didnt know the number so i wasnt gonna answer it in class, I checked the voice mail they left and it was some lady saying I needed to call her back asap...strange

this guy Eric White just called asking for a man and if I was his wife I asked for his name and company he was calling from and he snapped. I hung up and didnot give hima chance to be abusive.When I called the number back they said Capitol Accounts but noone would answer the phone. Thank God for call blocking Good luck getting through to me again....JERK

ya they keep calling my home and cell asking for someone not at this number the only thing is iam a minor of which ive told them they keep calling so now iam reporting them to the pollice! they need to get over them selfs

A man named Eric White called asking for Maria -wrong number.  I asked him to stop calling so early because I work late nights & have not been in bed that long & he told me, "It's nine o'clock.  Rise & shine & join the real world."  Then demanded my name.  He said he would not stop calling until I gave him my name.

This person has called several times now, each time leaving a vague and creepy message.  The subtext of his repeated calls has a threatening undercurrent.  I don't know why this person is calling.  He is a nuisance.

just today i rec'd same phone call at work.

this number keeps calling my mother and they either don't talk when she answers or leave an intimading message about it has come to their attention that she is involved in a bad situation and to call them back to take care of the problem at an 800 number.  they had my mom so upset she was about to cry.  jerks!  Thank you for this site so I could calm her down.

so is this an actual agency or a scam??

I have recieved multiple calls from this number.  Each time I only get a partial message, it says there is a matter that I may not even be aware of and he would like to speak with me before making any decision on the matter.  He gives the name Chris Smith and a direct line to him 800-973-5402.  I called it back and all I got was music.

Got a call from work. Funny too because not until I applied to refinance my mortgage with Country Wide Financial did these people have my work phone. He identified himself as "Chris Smith" and said "I most likely was not aware of the pending situation" and "wanted to contact me before the next step".

Best way to deal with these folks is to tell them that you are recording the phone call, they hang up quick

Partial message about "some legal trouble but if you call me back at 800 973 5402 and ask for Chris Smith we can get this taken care of before it becomes a bigger issue."  It was after 5 when we got home, but called the 800 number - just got music for a while then Capital Accounts voice mail came on.
