I've gotten at least 10 calls from this number over the past week. No one answers. I don't yet know if I'm being charged for it.

It is babytobee.com.  They offer coupons, samples, and other stuff for parents and it's not a scam.  I understand how annoyed you must be.  But the agents/slaves that work for that horrible company are not at fault.  The crappy automated dailer that babytobee has is constantly hanging up on people.  To get them to stop calling you, just call the number back and be nice for God's sake, and tell them "Put me on your do not call list".  And it gets done.  Now the crappy dailer may call you back a few times after that.  That's when you tell the agent...nicely please, that you would like to wait on the phone while a superviser removes your name from the list.  Now for you people who say you've never signed up on babytobee for anything...you probably didn't.  You signed up somewhere else for a free laptop or a contest and you got your info sold to other companies.  But please don't just hang up...they will just keep calling you.  And picking up the phone and cussing someone out when you hear hello and hanging up won't help either...some other hapeless agent will be calling you right back to get cussed out too lol.  God...I need some coffee!

I recieved numerous calls from this phone number every day.  I finally got sick enough of them calling that I answered, and supposedly they sign you up to win free baby products. I'm not sure if it's a scam or what.

Amen, Sickofworking!!!!

It's exactly what it is.  It's not a scam.  Chances are if ya signed up for most anything online that 'guarentees' you something for nothing or put in your email address or phone number to claim your "FREE" *** 60" flat-screen TV ***, or perhaps you put your information into one of those online-gaming sites (king.com, gamesville.com, pogo.com, etc.) you'd be amazed how fast it gets sold to other companies.  Just call this number and tell them that there must have been a mistake and that someone else must have signed you up for the service but you have no kids and none on the way.  (it can be a lie, they won't know the difference)

But for sure, don't waste your time and energy by calling up the number and screaming at the operator who will try to help you.. It's not that person's fault that your name and number was placed on this list..

And for those saying you can't get thru because it's an international number, some cell phones don't dial certain numbers correctly.  You may be calling a number that is from the US but your call can be re-routed to anywhere in the world (call-forwarding, anyone???)

The best advice is to try calling them and telling them you were mistakenly placed on the list by someone else (again, it can be a lie-but it'll get you off the list with the least hassle).  If that doesn't work, try to answer the phone when it calls (now that you know what it's all about.) And finally if you don't wanna take the initiative, file a complaint with the FCC and sit and wait patiently while the calls still continue to flow in..  The choice is yours, but I prefer a quick and easy solution that'll end the calls immediately.

Well good luck.

The number has called me 5-6 times a day for about 3 days. If I answer it makes the sound like an AOL instant message is being sent and then it hangs up. When I call back it says the INTERNATIONAL call I'm trying to make cannot be completed.

This number has called me a number of times today but I have yet to answer but they don't leave a voice mail.  i am pregnant so it makes a little sense for those who say it has to do with baby stuff but then again some of yall are saying no one's on the other end. so just in case it's a scam i'm going keep ingoring it.

they have called me three times in the past two days and say they are from babytobe.com and i registered for free stuff.  when i told them i never registered they said father is checked off so it must be my husband.  then she wanted to verify my info and when i said i wasn't comfortable she said she would tell me part of it and then i could verify the rest.  she gave me the street name and town and wanted the house number and zip code.  funny thing is that she had my parents address and i haven't lived there in over 10 years!  so if my husband registered he would not have used my cell number and my parents address.  i found info online about them and they get you to verify all sorts of personal info and then tell you that you have to pay $1.95 shipping for your free stuff and ask for your credit card number.

This numbers is on my caller ID at least 9 times a day..all the way up to 9pm at night! I caught my wife talking to them on the phone and confirming to them her birthday. Somehow, they knew the day and month and SHE gave them the year!! I interrupted asking her what the hell she was doing, took the phone and said we were not interested. They still continue to call! When you pick up the phone, you can hear a computer ding sound..they must be simultaneously using the internet to phish info for identities. Today, I told them again that I am not interested. They asked if I knew anyone else who wanted free stuff. Rather than interrogate her anymore, I simply continued to say I am not interested and she hung up. But now I see by reading the other complaints that no one has really carried on with the questioning to find out what exactly is their angle. I assumed that they are scammers since they keep bugging the hell out of us, but I really have no proof except that...next time they call, I am going to hear out all the questions, give some false answers, to see where it goes...if it's really FREE, it shouldn't matter whether I tell the truth or not...right?

Ok, I finally went all the way through with the questioning
Process by the Baby-to-Bee lady at 314-315-4870.
During the questioning and conversation, I asked her 4 TIMES
If it was completely free and said because I am not looking to
Pay for anything!
At the very end of the call she revealed the truth,
they offered me a program for 30days
For $1.99, then $19.95 a month thereafter…and all I had
To do was give her a CREDIT CARD NUMBER OVER THE PHONE.
The program is supposed to send you coupons and baby magazine offers.
I declined. So, let them know ahead of time, you are not signing up
For any programs for any amount of monthly fees and refuse to
Give credit card info over the phone, because that is what they are truly after.

i to got the usb connection bell sound.. (it must be some sort of indication for them when someone actually answers the phone since they probably get so many unanswered calls to actually hold the phone to their ears) i  told them i was someone else and they had the wrong number. said they were sorry and would remove them from their system. easy enough.  i believe they got my number when i entered my new baby girl's photo into a online cutest baby contest. i made the mistake of entering my phone number during sign up. but how else will i know if my baby is the winner? should have just entered my valid e-mail huh? anyways i dont remember exactly which site it was since i entered her in so many.

I went on that babytobee site and like a dummy I registered. I put in my cell phone number and now they won't stop calling-I have my phone on vibrate and I ignore the calls.  They seem to call every 2-3 hours on the dot.  I hope it ends soon, they are driving me crazy!

i guess after reading above and my final answer before this one. Is dont put your number on any advertisement online. I kinda new that but the ones I advertised to was Blue Cross and netflicks. Now i learned my lesson. What ever you do dont go for the scams on the net. If your intrested in popular adds then just call them. Thanks everyone.
