That number is Charter.  I phoned my local office and they put me on their no call list. Charter will no longer give me calls me like that.  They will only call in response to my specific calls or to let me know I am behind on my bill.

We have internet and cable through Charter.  They suck on a massive scale.  For about a year and a half they were calling and calling, leaving no messages.  Finally I went to their website and opted out of contact by phone.  That worked - until about a week ago when I called them to upgrade our internet service and get rid of their leased outdated gateway/router.  I bought my own newer much better one because I was sick of their slow speeds and constant dropping.

Now they are calling again!  If they are trying to sell us a bundle option or whatever, they do not offer any of that in our area.  We have no other cable/internet options in our town.  EVERYBODY here hates them.  I avoid calling them at all costs because then they start on their calling campaign again...argh!

I've been having the same problem.  Finally called it back, had to sit on hold for a few minutes, and expressed that I do not want to be called.  I was removed from the list no questions asked.  Easy enough, but really not worth my time, Charter.

All of a sudden, I began getting these phone calls - had to look up where the 314 area code was even at (no where near me.)  The calls are at random bizarre times of the day and I getting sick of them interrupting my work hours.  I'm sure my boss does not appreciate the incessant buzzing of a phone on vibrate either.

I don't answer it period. When you see that 314 area code with a prefix of 450, you'll know it's charter cables alleged telemarketing. My recommendation is visit or call your nearest chatter agency to verify the authenticity of these idiots.

This is Charter (cable, internet, phone company). They have done this to me in the past. I don't understand their philosophy! They call, do not answer when you answer, and do not leave a message! What they want you to do is call back then they try to sell you a bundle option or other things! The reason they can call is if you are doing business like have cable or have in the past had their service you have to give them your phone! So even if you are on the Do Not Call list they can call you. I think it cost them less money when you call them instead of having to pay long distance that's why they don't answer and they are just counting on people being curious enough to call back. I think this is a bad way to do business and if there where any other options in my city I would go with another company! But I can't so stuck with it all the time!

This number calls but never leaves a message. I dont answer.

I also am getting calls. Is there a way to block a number so that my cell phone won't accept calls from that number? (I have an iPhone). I answered twice now, but there's no one there. If it's Charter Cable, I don't know what they're trying to accomplish, except making me dislike their company more....

I got called by this number 3 times in an 8 hour time span, answered it 2 of the three times and no one was there. Called it back, it was Charter Communications, calling me because I disconnected my service when I moved and they wanted to know if they could connnect it at my new address. Reallly irritating that they didn't leave a message, and when I ansered no one was there and then it just beeped at me. I'm never going to get Charter again... too many sales calls even before I got rid of them.

answered... got a recording saying it was a couresy call and that they'd call back.  Annoying!!! now I'll probably get more calls.  What happened to the no call list?

Got a call from this number and there was noone on the other end...very annoying!
