This number calls me 2-3 times per day . No message it is so annoying . Careful though , if you call back it may be one of the companies that add a  charge to your bill.

Its YP dot com and they are trying to get you to spend money with them for business advertising.

I contacted them last month for probably the 6th time to get them to correct a 5 year old mistake on my business phone number.

Now they keep calling me every couple of days and usually leave no message, keeps showing up on my caller ID.

Considering how long it took just to get them to correct the current listing,  I surly will not give them any more business.

This is YP.com retention. Do NOT go back to them, don't pay them a cent, run a chargeback on whatever they might have gotten from you already, and refuse to talk to them. If they call again, pick up and hang up so they don't get voicemail. YP is notorious for bait-and-switch tactics.

It is in fact YP. I cancelled both my internet and yellow page ads recently and it's their retention department begging you to come back for a discounted rate.  

Caller salesman Jesse hung up on me after agitated and rude aggressive sales tactic questioning on why I had to hang up and asked to call me back after I get out of Carline at elementary school pickup. ..yp.com will never get my business.

Got a call from this number today: 314-480-3900, they told me that they were with Yelp and they got my info from godaddy. When I asked them in regard to what domain name from godaddy they were calling me on, it took the guy a couple minutes to tell me. I knew they were not with yelp because I have spoken to the reps at yelp, and the legit Yelp calls all come from an Arizona area code (480). I called godaddy to ask about solicited calls, they told me that they don't give out their customers info to anyone.  

I got a call also- judging from the other's comments it is probably YP, the charged a credit card of mine unscrupulously, I protested the charge and it was taken off my account.  Now these goons are calling me. Simply block the number and let them languish. So unprofessional not to leave a message, but one must realize who it is that they are dealing with OR BETTER YET, WHO THEY'RE NOT DEALING WITH!

I actually work for godaddy and got a call from this number claiming it was godaddy. Obviously, I know better.  We like to give our customers calls to see how business is going, but if you ever get a "sales call" from "godaddy" or a company claiming to be working with us, it is a scam. We would never call a customer to sell a product. Only for other curtsey reasons. :)

Yp Yellow pages after open a free account to advertise, they are trying to get some bucks out of my pocket.

I agree with those who are connecting these calls with go-daddy !   I know that go-daddy just called our small business office line the other day to ask how things are going - luckily they did not reach me.  I have not had great results with using their services, oh not that we have not gotten out into the Internet, but they have changed many of our HUGE number of .com purchases settings within their on-line web site (i.e. from NOT wanting them to be on automatic renewal and some other non-sense things that we were charged over $700 UNAUTHORIZED  at one time  ! ! ! ).  I actually shredded my bank card because of this a couple of years ago - yeah they did reverse and actually put the settings back - but that really stinks.  I am feeling like I have to watch anything with this company.  I also have had a business  I am now going to ask my husband about this latest thing - we are just trying to make it running our own business and we certainly don't need calls that are going to waste our time.  I have no patience for the telemarketing profession - NOT anything against the front line people doing it necessarily.  JUST back to kindergarten Rules we all "learned"  right ???   Don't waste my time & I won't waste your time.  IDK seems like basic manners are all but lost.

I just received a phone call from this # as well.  They are indeed YP telemarketers wanting to upgrade my free listing.

I listened to a young man for quite a while stating all the wonderful things that they will do for my company.  After I found out how much it costs me I said I wasn't interested.  He put me on hold so his manager can try to sell me their services.

Very very pushy people.  She even had the gall to say that my business will fail.  At the end I finally said I don't want to do anything very slowly.  I was almost screaming it the 4th or 5th time then they hung up.

It is almost a game with these people.  Makes me hardened to the point that I shut off every solicitor I have in contact with.  

I'm finding the same thing as the rest of you...using Godaddy to build websites, listing my company on YP and then receiving calls but no messages.  

Called my cell phone as well.  I did not answer it.  When I call the number, it rolls into voicemail.  Can't identify.

They called me and did not leave a message either, I called back after hours and the recording said YP as well.  What triggers this call is when you fill out Yellow Pages directory online, for me it was when I was doing my SEO through go daddy.

It's the yellow pages (real YP.com, he said) and they did leave a message for me.  I've talked to them before, and I don't think they're a scam.  But their service is relatively expensive for me as a new small business, and I wish they would stop calling.

I got a call too - same number, no message. It sounded like a call center in the background. I opened a free online yellow pages listing for my business last month and have received a couple of marketing calls since then trying to get me to "upgrade." I suspect that this was more of the same. So unprofessional not to leave a message!

Got a call from them this morning. They did not leave a message.

I called this number back (did not answer call).  All it said was "YP".  Is that yellow pages or one of those phony yellow pages?  Either way, I don't need to talk to them!
