10/7/13 I missed a call from this number : 201-283-9631! Today 10/9/13, I just received a call from 314-627-2936! The woman said, "Can you hear me okay? This is Jodi from samplerewards.com and I was calling to inform you that you were the lucky candidate picked from taking our survey. You will receive a $100 gift card and a $50 gift card." I asked what do I have to do? She replied, "not much really, my badge number is 173 and I will connect you over to the shipping department now." I said, okay but before you connect me I would like some information. What is your name? She said, "My name is Jodi and my badge number is 173, I will connect you over now." I replied, I know your name is Jodi and can you tell me your last name please? She said, "My name is Jodi, my badge number is 173 and I will connect you to my supervisor now." I continuously said Jodi, may I have your last name please? And she kept providing me with the same answer, "My name is Jodi, my badge number is 173 and I will connect you to my supervisor now." I said, Ma'am I work in customer service and I am asking you to provide me your last name so I can write it down please. She replied, "Thank you, have a nice day!" and disconnected the call. When you work in customer service, we are not able to disconnect the call on a customer unless they are cursing and you warn them that if they don't stop then you'll disconnect the call. PLEASE EVERYONE BE AWARE OF THESE NUMBERS THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW BECAUSE ULTIMATELY IT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM! I know we all could depend on some extra money but please don't give up your information to unknown companies! Do some research. Ask them MANY questions. Most of the scams out there when questioned, will refrain from releasing information about themselves and reference other people's names that you may know or that just sound like, "Oh, he knows so and so...this isn't a scam." DO NOT THINK LIKE THAT BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO TRY AND SCAM US, THEY KNOW HOW WE THINK. So don't just trust that they're being honest and genuine because the nicest people in the world could also be the ones you need to watch the most! Not saying ALL nice people are trying to get over on you. But some people show you one thing on the outside and they're completely different on the inside. For example, Hitch hikers! Some of us feel bad and pick them up. And others will feel bad but keep driving by. Its a tough decision because the people sometimes seem so innocent and harmless. But those same people, some...NOT ALL, are rapists and killers! So needless to say, JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE WARNING SIGNS. IF SOMEONE IS HESITANT TO GIVE YOU INFORMATION...NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN, IT'S A SCAM! Trust your instincts and go with your gut...even if you are unsure...that means that you, yourself are hesitant...so don't give them your information. These scammers are predators and guess who is their prey? US! Make smart decisions because if Jodi would've provided me with her information than I would've just handed over mine...So use your voice because we have it to question things that we are unsure of and when we speak up...we ultimately save ourselves from being someone's prey!

Wow, scammers gave you instructions to put your number on a fake do not call list and YOU BELIEVED THEM!

You'll get a lot more junk phone calls now that you've confirmed you have live number. Nice going.

I called that number back and  it  is company Customer Communication Platform. They give you choise to connect with one of they representative or to put yourself on do not call list, which I did.

I got call from 314-627-2936 and there was a lady sound like not from US and she told me that I aply on website to try products, and that is why they are calling me. She was telling that they will send me a products that I can try if I have time, and they will send me thank you card for trying for $100.00 and $50.00 for restorants card. After I agreed for that, she turned recording mashine so I can (say)give my Last and First name, date of birth, ad address to her. After that she told me that they need my credit card number because they will charge me for shipping to send those cards to me $1.99.  I refused, because I thought if they give me all those $$$$money ($100 +$50 cards ) they should be able to pay for shipping. I told her it was their chose to give me free all that , if they have no money to ship it why don't they give away only $50 dollars and use other $50 to make their shipment payment. But no, she needed credit card. I don't remember applying on any website to try products, and she did not wanted any rewue back from products I will try. Does not make any scence.  beside that she wanted give me pharmacy card 10 % off. Said also name Lavita products.

They just called here at 3.22pm CST..no noise on the other end but I also answered the phone with the mute button on so they couldn't hear anything from my end, lol. This call came in after 15 calls from another scammer.

They call I answer then they tell me something about a survey I did and that I get to receive a sample product and hat it comes with a gift card but you have to pay 2 dollars with a credit card to activate it yeah I hung up when they asked for that

This number calls me on Sunday, leaves no message & I can not call it back.

I received a call from Judy (ID 173). Judy said I filled a survey at SampleRewards.com and was offering me a $100 gift card and a $50 restaurant card, along with free product samples. Judy seemed rude because she seemed to rush me when all I wanted to request was my name be put on the do not call list.

Judy transferred me to a verification lady, Mary (employee ID 17; national research association; 18556043977; ext: 17), assuming I was interested. When asked where they got my number, Mary said they got my information from the National Research Association and have affiliations with Google and Yahoo, and that I "filled out a pop up survey".

Both seemed be automated since they just kept repeating the same information and left no time for me to speak. My request to be put on the do not call list was granted but Mary said good bye to me multiple times.

Didn't answer because I didn't recognize number. No message left. I can see it was from scammers from St.Louis.

keep getting calls from this no and other unknown numbers. i do not answer numbers that i dont recognize but would like very much for them to stop. but i guess there is no way to stop them.  there are just people like this in the world that you cannot do anything about

I am experiencing the same EXCEPT, I spoke to a foreign lady stating they had samples for me. When I asked questions, she deliberately avoided them and changed the subject. Then told me she was calling from California and the caller I'd said MO. I told her that an she tried to transfer me. I hung up. The whole experience was very very odd. I have gotten the calls from 4 different locations and numbers.

I got a call from this Co. and they want you to try samples and do surveys on line...you get gift cards for compenstion but of course you have to pay something up front...not my cup of tea.

This call is very annoying.they call four times a day I don't answer. Then when I call them back the phone rings but no one picks up. It then give you a fax machine noise

Calls work line and says I won a prize from a survey that I recently (never) took.

this number calls and leaves no message.  if you call it back, it says the number has been disconnected.

The same happens to me.  I call back and receive number not in service.  These calls are on my cell phone.

Please someone give us instructions on how to stop these calls to cellphones as mine is a prepay phone.  May not have a cell phone in future as at least I can have ID on house phone and not answer if I don't want to.  I know cell companies don't care as it is revenue for them irregardless who is paying the bill.

Same here.  About to change cell phone number even though I've only had it for a month.  All these numbers are calling me constantly.  I'd love to kick the last person that had this number.
