If you call it back they say they are calling about a free publication you received and if you leave your name and number they will remove you from their call list... but the voicemail is full.

unknown calls go immediately to my "REJECT" list!!

that is Steve Nuts -912-247-8814 or Jocky Inchh-912-323-8045,,they call me and then hang up..So i do the same thing too them..over and over until they get the message.

I am gett all of the same numbers.  I have been looking for a job online with alot of people.  And some of the ask me if I want to go to school.  I keep saying no.  I never once said yes.  I get calls from all over the USA want me to go to school.  One of the site that ask about school everytime you get in is JobAletsUsa.com  if that help anyone.

i got called from a 3128785582 , 3146275523 , and a 9173985569 all with in a 15 min period. i dont know the numbers . i looked them up on the net and the are coming from new york st louis and chicago. who are the ppl

It's automatically illegal to make unsolicited marketing calls to mobiles without the permission of the owner. My mobile is also on the national DNC list.  So...
when I got a call from 314 627 5523 I knew that it was a match for both the above.

I called the number on my landline, using *67 to block my own caller ID from them.
The recorded announcement was for a Career Institute and a bunch of other stuff.  I didn't need to hear.  I just needed to know it was a telemarketing organization.

I chose to press 1 for an associate to discuss etc. etc.

When a guy answered, I did not let him speak beyond acknowledging my first words which were "You have called my mobile which you are not allowed to do.  I am going to give you the number and you must remove it from your calling list and add it to your Do Not Call list"
He said OK.
I went on and gave him my number.  I added that if I continue to receive calls your organization will be reported to the FCC.  Then I hung up.

That is the absolute limit of my desire to talk to these people.
I recommend that anybody getting a call does likewise.

- Nov. 3, '11: received call, no message left.
- I called the number, a recording said something to the effect of "the career institute, where we help match up students with some of the great schools in the country..."
- I've been getting a lot of these places (companies saying they help match up people with schools that offer programs you may be interested in).  You tell them what classes/programs you are interested in.  They have some database of "schools around the country."  
- They send your contact info to the school(s) that "match" your interests.
- They only have ONLINE schools in their database.  I asked them specifically if they had access to on-campus schools.  She said yes.  I know that's so not the case since I have a specific school in mind that offers exactly what I want, told her exactly what I wanted to major in, and she had "no hits" that came up with that major.
- Annoying.

I have received calls from 312-878-5582, 971-277-8004, 314-627-5523, 917-398-5568, 805-309-5505, and 503-457-1002 since I got my phone. I get them a couple of times a day and I don't answer numbers I dont know. The problem with me is I live right outside of St.Louis and so the 314 number is close by but still won't answer. When I do get a voicemail it says something about winning a giftcard to Walmart but I never signed up for anything. I"m not sure what all of this is about but I'm getting frustrated by all the calls. I just wish I could stop the calls from coming in.

I got calls from the same numbers mentioned in the other blogs all within an hour of each other.  I am not allowed to answer my cell phone at work so therefore I do not know who it is.  Weird.

YO Nathon what ever your name is, calling people at 3 AM is not a good idea! Calling people at 6 AM is also not a good idea.  Not telling who you are last name included is a BAD idea, not mentioning the name of the company your calling from means your a very poor employee!  You've called me 59 times in 5 days, that's harrassment!  Thank goodness for caller ID it's all on my phone!  

Sorry folks but I'm extremely angry, this Nathon called me at 1 AM, 3AM and 5 AM for the last 8 days, its' waking up the whole family, not a good thing!

Same problem here, same three area codes: 314, 312, 917.  I'm wondering if it may be political/election calls?

Received same call and didn't answer. Called back  and when talking started entered "22" and took name off their list. It worked.

These people are getting your number if you are looking on job search sites. They ask if you
are interested in getting a college degree and even if you answer NO they all ready have
your information.

I am also being stalked by this # and it is really starting to annoy me that I am on the DO NOT CALL list and I am still being harrassed by so many of this type of callers.   What they don't know is that I have digit phone service and block or not I can see who is calling me.

The do not call list only blocks unsolicited phone calls.  If you go to a site and request information or fill out a form, they can call you.  And potentially sell your ##....

I have no idea who or what this is; I am REALLY TIRED OF RECEIVING CALLS from these mysterious numbers;  I am ON THE DO NOT CALL list and still these calls persist; I want this blocked and any call from that area. I KNOW OF NO ONE whatsover or any company that i would have anyknowledge of in this area...whatever it is...BLOCK IT and get on the JOB!!!

This number called and left a message with an offer to lower interest rates and lower payments. This is clearly a scam as they called a cell phone (which is illegal without an existing business relationship) and they did not leave any information that was *correct* about my current status.

You are correct. These calls (i have gotten them too) originated from applying for a job online. The "emplyment" site is a hoax used for "college matching" telemarketers. In this economy and as desperate as some of us are for a job, these people should be jailed.

wow i cant believe the comments for this number go back 2 YEARS and they're still calling people. i've gotten calls from this number 3 times in the past week. all 3 times they hung up when i answered and i'm not spending money calling long distance just to speak to a computer. my number is on the national do not call list and it is an UNLISTED number. i don't know how they're getting my number to call me, but this is getting annoying as hell.

Got the same call.  They are plugging connecting people to various educational institutions.

I submitted my resume on a job search site and BAM!!! Tons of spam call from all kinds of area codes.
