unsolicited call to my cell. been spamming me for 3 days now

I have received 6 calls from unknown numbers in the last 24 hours with no message & no answer when I try to return the call.  I need to be able to answer my phone without getting unsolicited sales calls.  Please tell me how to make it stop!!

I get these calls all the time at inconvenient times. I think I clicked on a Publisher's Clearinghouse site, and started getting spammed with all kinds of offer of education opportunities I didn't want. So beware of PCH sites, scammers seem to be waiting for their scraps to fall out of PCH's fingers

I called the number back and there was an automated recording that instructed me to press 2 to be removed from the calling list. We shall see... :)

Start receiving the calls after went to an on-line job search and completed information with qualifications.

I have received multiple calls from multiple numbers. It seems as if one comes in after the other with no break.

I do not use this phone number (work blackberry) and only about 3 people have the number.  I have never given it out for commercial purposes.

They keep calling but don't leave a message

This number 314-627-5604 keeps calling my cell phone.

In the past 24 hours I've received 8 calls from the following numbers:

213-289-5542 Careers Institute

These are all scams who claim that I've filled out an online application and/or survey about online training.  I've also been plagued with spam emails from these same types of so called 'learning institutions' via my Yahoo account.

The same exact 4#'s called my phone back to back on yesterday.

T-ey Called, I Ignored it... no message left.  I can only think that it's a call from someone reguarding something totally unnecessary and probably to the exact opposite of my benefit.
I've recieved 5 calls inbetween the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. none of which I recognize the number or have answered.  none of them have left messages, all of them different but two...

if you applied for a loan online thats were they got their information and they are callng you back. ignore or tell them not to call again.

Press 2 and then 2 again you will be removed......

So glad I looked on here! I've gotten calls from all the numbers listed on this thread in the past 2 days.

Wondering if my number will really be removed by pressing 2, or if I've opened a whole new can of worms.

i made a bunch of vacation reservations online and joined AARP (online) and came back from vacation with about 10 of these different numbers (CI online, Classes online, CI learning...)

what list did I get on?  I never asked about classes or college on anything I filled out. I'm on the Do Not Call list... guess they'll figure it out someday!

been getting a lot of calls from these numbers 6027130785,4146275604,3128785679,and more answer phone no one talks dont know who they r and dont want to talk to them been getting calls all day and night time

unknown who they r answer phone they dont say a word and hang up, just like number 13333333333

Got a call from this 314-627-5604 on my cell. When I answered, there was no one on the other end.

When I identify the number to be someone I don't want to speak with, I save it in my phone directory under DNA (do not answer). This way, next time they call, I know to ignore it.

got 6 calls from 6 different phone numbers/names on the caller ID over a 2 day period.  they always seem to call during the day while i'm at work.  my boyfriend works nights, so he told me about all the calls that were coming in while he was here.  i took a look at the caller ID and couldnt believe it.  i called back all 6 phone numbers, and they were ALL the same recording for Career Institute.  i did press 2 and 2 on all the numbers to remove my phone number from the list.  then i called back one of the numbers and pressed 1 to speak to someone.  i asked for a supervisor and told her she better remove my number or i will be contacting the authorities.  she took my info, but we'll see if that works.  i'm also registered on the National Do Not Call List, so i filed complaints on all 6 phone numbers.  we'll see if that does anything.  here are the names and numbers that harrassed me....

I applied to multiple jobs on line this weekend and monday started getting multiple calls from all the numbers listed above.  My phone rang about 15+ times yesterday with these numbers.

5 phone calls today,

This number calls my home at 6 AM!!!! That is just plain rude!!
