called saying from AZ but really in Cal. A credit card scam trying to get you to buy in so they can get credit card # tell them to F--- off

Update - going the route of calling them back and entering my phone number to be taken off their list worked.  The message says it will take up to 72 hours, but I never received another call from that number.

FYI there is no "beep" so don't bother waiting for it.  Just enter your number.

Just wanted to let everyone know how I stopped the calls - I called the number back and it was answered by an automated message saying "if you want us to remove your number from our calling list please enter your number after the beep"  Well I tried calling a few times because there never was a beep.  I did enter my number without hearing a beep, and then got a "Thank you, goodbye" recording.  Haven't had any calls since, even though the message said it would take up to 72 hours.  

I also found out I was not on the national DNC list, so I added myself - but that can take up to 31 days to go into effect.

Rings then hangs up, when you reverse number you get answering service tells you can cancel calls that will take 72hrs, and when you want to speak to a person it tells you their voicebox is filled

this person calls me then i answer then  they dont even talk they just hang up   my dad cussed them out and told them to stop callin mutiple times

this number has called me twelve times in less then a day. when i answered theytold me i had one a thousand dollar gift card which i know is not true. i do not know who they are but i have told them to stop and they have not!!!!

We threatened to burn their house down, problem solved!

I"ve getting calls everyday non stop and this person telling me that his company will give me $500 gift card for $200 and he is asking my person information credit card and address etc.  I am sure this is some kind of fraud please be aware of this number.

Same experiences as everyone else I read about.  Answer and no one there.... calls keep coming in but never leave a message. Too bad for them I guess.

I kept getting calls from this number, but it would always hang up before I could answer.  I finally called the number back and got a recording saying it was a telemarketing company, and if I wanted to be put on "their" do not call list, I could enter my phone number and I would be removed in either 24 or 48 hours.  Hopefully it works!

I don't know who keeps calling at least 7-10 times daily they don't leave a message.
I guess it's some pathetic looser but I really hope the police catches whom ever is responsible

They called me 7 times today I just answered the 7th one I couldn't understand this guy he asked for a credit card number I was like I think u have the wrong number got on my nerves and he hung up so,that's all I really heard n him saying ok I just said ok back and said what is this for I don't even have a credit card,askin for some money for shipping

This number has called me all day and into the evening. 10 plus times a day. Getting aggravating.

This number has called me 5 times today alone and the first three times they would hang up when i answered...the last two times they have called they finally answered me and I have told them to quit calling me. I called the number back and it's just a recording telling u to put in ur number after the beep and it will put u on the do not call list within 72 hours...how convenient there is never a beep and the call just ends...i am over this number calling...it's really getting under my skin!

I've been getting calls from this number for a few days now.. I just finally answered it to see what it was and it was some foreign accented guy said his name was Simon.. He said my number has been randomly selected and I've won $500 to the grocery store of my choice.. I just hung up cuz I don't have any time in my life for this scam crap. LOL

Keeps calling my cell phone and does not answer when I pick-up.

have gotten 4 calls from this phone this morning alone, no answer then i called back and i could hear voices in the background then they called back but didnt say anything

I think I actually got my number onto their do not call list.  I just entered it even though the "beep" never sounded, and after I finished it said "Thank you for your call" and disconnected.  The recording says it will take up to 72 hours, though, so that means another 50 calls before they stop. I also got my number on the National Do Not Call registry, so after a month if they're still calling me I can report them.  

So now I have to decide what to do next time they call, which should be any minute now.  Ignore the call, or play with the guy?  If there actually is a guy this time, that is.

"Can't you just email the gift card to me?"  "I'm feeling very generous today, why don't you keep the gift card for yourself?"  "Can I pay you with the gift card I won from you 45 minutes ago?"  LOL

Oh and I was pretty sure I signed up for the national Do Not Call registry a while back...I have to find that and double-check.  Maybe it expires after a certain amount of time.

Of course, while I'm looking this up, I get my first call of the day from them!  I did call back and went through the automated "add your number to our do not call list" but it says wait for the beep and enter your number.  Never beeped.  Called back and waited a lot longer, and finally got a beep and the call was automatically disconnected before I could enter a single digit!

This is people keep asking my age and my bank card expiration date. I refused to give it to them, and he keeps ask me again and again. He could not even tell me where he is calling from.

This is like the 5th different number that has been calling with the same shpiel. It's getting on my nerves. I'm wondering if I answer the phone and sit it down and act like I'm talking crap about them to someone else if they'll get the hint. Probably not but I think I would get a laugh from it.
