Delta Outsource.  This owner calls on the daily basis looking for various named someone (wrong number) and other times no vocals. Other numbers they calls from: 2185911286; 3146692532; 6365903647.

I get calls from this number and when I answer they just hang up.  I don't have any bills past due that I am aware of so really who it it calling.

If this is indeed a debt collector, why don't they leave a message? I've dealt with my fair share of collectors and they always leave messages which is why I question the validity of this company. Like most others, I get calls daily sometimes 3-4 times a day. If I don't know you, I don't answer. If you don't leave a message, I'm not calling the number back to see who it is and what they wanted. Perhaps I'll put them on my block list.

This telephone number called me (314 669 2532-Missouri) and told me I had a loan at cash central.  They requested verification of my last 4 social security number.  I would not verify the information because I could not recall having a account with a cash central.  The person on the line appeared frustrated and hung up.  I called cash central which is a payday loan and asked for information on me.  They gave me a address of my prior address but instead of Maryland it stated my state address in their system was Missouri?  I told them I have never lived or been near Missouri and she said the loan was rejected.  She also said there was multiple questions that were unanswered on the application and simple answers relating to my family were left blank.  This application took place in 2006 and they are calling me today.  Cash Central informed me that they have no idea who would be calling me about an account with them because there has never been an account.

Don't know who they are! called this morning showing Missouri call from caller ID. I don't have any debt!!!

Hey Dork..... my phone is only 3 weeks mine now.... seems my # belonged to someone that didn't pay their bills. You are too inane to think outside the can you are in. Lots of reason the wrong people get these calls. Wise up and get off your Kool Aid.

Have been receiving calls from 314-669-2532  for the past 2 to 3 wks.  Didn't owe anyone anything so knew it couldn't be a creditor but if I don't know the number, I don't answer the phone.  A few days ago I accidentally answered one of their calls.  The man asked for Christine. ( Who I am not.)   I asked what number he was calling and sure enough, it was my number (I told him, yes, that is this number, but there was no Christine here.  He was very nice, did not agree with me and said "Ok, I will take your number off of our records.   Also in some earlier post on this thread, someone said that other numbers are associated with this number 636-590-3647 and 636-614-0193 which I have also been receiving calls from.  The name of the Group is  Delta Outsource Group, They are a collection agency.  Ever since then, no more calls, Thank Goodness and my phone has been nice and quiet, except for calls from my friends, just the way I like it.  Thank You for this site, it really helps us figure out who is annoying us.

Calling the Wrong Person
If you receive calls from collectors looking for someone who lived in the house or apartment before you, had the phone number you have now, or the person's name is the same or similar to yours, here are some things you can do:

1. Do not take their harassment! Tape the calls and tell the caller that you are doing so for evidence of their illegal behavior and that you intend to file a complaint with your state attorney general and the FTC. Then, contact your State Attorney General's consumer protection division, use this attorney-general link to locate yours and file a formal complaint. While you're on the phone or the web site, ask if they can offer any assistance such as calling or sending the collector a written warning to stop harassing you. Also ask for a reference to any state laws that offer protection from harassment. Then, file a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as well using their on-line complaint form

2. If they ask for your social security number DO NOT provide it. Not even part of it! Instead, have them tell you what number they are looking for and then you can verify whether it is or is not your number. If it is your number, and you believe there is a mistaken identity start thinking IDENTITY FRAUD and take action to protect your credit reports. Tell the collector you believe this might be fraud or ID theft Identity theft; how to prevent it and protect yourself! If the number is your SS number and the debt might be yours, then act in good faith and tell the collector so. Remember you still have the right to dispute the debt if, after discussing it, you believe it to be invalid.

My elderly mom and I moved closer to our family, and bought a new house, and a new land line phone number. We have gotten 2 to 4 calls a day from this company and 4 to 6 calls from others like it, since day 1 with the new number. We tried answering to talk to someone to let them know that they have a wrong number. Doesn't help even when someone does answer. They don't believe you, so the calls continue. We just don't answer our phone anymore, but every time it rings we still have to check and see who it is from.  The calls from this particular company start at 8am and the last call is nearly 9pm. I just got home from the hospital after having major surgery, so these calls are especially annoying.

Received a call from this number (showed on my caller ID)  at my place of employment.  No message.  I am not going to worry about it.  It couldn't be important, if you didn't leave a message.

Got the call at 7:45 AM for the 4th time or so. They keep asking for some girl and I have told them they have the wrong number every time.

Guess someone is being collected on and I have the lucky old phone number of this person!

Have received multiple calls from these people and they never leave a message, finally called them back and it is a collection call for an old account I paid off over 10 years ago. They couldn't even tell me where they got my information, they just kept telling me that they had gotten my account from a 3rd party. I contacted the company I had the debt with and they were able to fax me copies of the paid bills and I faxed these to them and they still call.

calls coming from 314 669 2532 are saying that they are from the "County of Los Angeles" which is miss representation and a criminal act it doesn't matter what the reason is for calling...

K, it may be because your phone number once belonged to someone who owes a debt.  I have been having constant calls myself that started since a message was left for me.  I need to call that number back and tell them "nobody here by that name"  and  "I am on the do not call list"  

After this they will leave you alone

ALSO, if anybody ever asks what your name is, tell them:  "I don't give that info out over the phone"

I just got a call from this number. I picked up said hello a couple of times and they hung up.

we receive two calls every day from this number.  We pay our bills and are not overdue.  However do receive calls for an employee we had in 2002, still.  These people won't leave a message, so have no idea.  Will continue not to answer.  Thanks Missouri call for making the wrong person miserable.

your an a**! First of all, these collection companies buy old debt from businesses, banks etc. for pennies on the dollar. Then they harass the person who owed the original debt, all to profit themselves.  If you could buy a 500.00 debt for five bucks then bug the hell out of the debtor and collect the entire 500.00 you would see why they are so aggressive.  There are often circumstances that cause a person to end of in collection that are beyond their control.  A lot of people are out of work right now, not by choice!!  Of course the collector should not be ignored, a payment arrangement should be attempted. Greed makes people very unreasonable and downright ignorant at times.

Pay your bills, and you wont receive harassing calls.

Get this call a couple times a month on my cell phone. Never answer it. I have the number rejected. Voicmall sounds like a robo call asking u to press 1 if this is right person, or not. Dumb

This number calls me many times & never left the voicemail.

I hope someone does something about this call I seem to get at 10:00 A.M. Especially when you need peace and quiet,when you're not feeling well. I want this to stop.

This number calls me everyday always two or three times in a row. Never leaves a message. Says on the caller ID its from Missouri, don't answer since I don't know who it is.

On 3/20/13 Sent a cease and desist letter to this company by certified mail, return receipt.  Tracked it on line and found it was delivered to them on 3/25/13.  Received calls from them on 3/26/13, 3/27/13, and on 3/28/13. Have not received the green return card yet.  Sent two things the same day by certified mail asking for a refund of a purchase.  That green return card has come back and the refund is back in my bank account.
