calling while at work late in the evening. search on my mobile phone and it came up as a land line with at&t.
770-740-4000 also showea up as at&t.

this is a hassle. They call my cell, my time is deducted, for NOTHING.

Unwanted calls ,does not respond

I got a call at 1230 at night, just beeping.

This number continues to call my CELL phone -- when I answer it is a fax tone.  It keeps calling back over and over again.  How in the world can I find out what company it is and get them to stop the madness.  They call me at 2:30 in the morning!!!!

This has to stop!  I am a teacher and this constant interruption is distracting my already "at risk" students.

I added the contacts.  Titled contact as "Do***ebags".then hit options/blocked call. Problem solved.
Btw, talx is a third party actuary that that provides information for their clients. ie: unemployment information

I too have received the beeping calls a few time.  But, I also received them from 314-656-1261.  I called 314-656-1261 and an operator answered immediately.  She apologized for the calls.  Shorly after I made this call, I received a couple of calls from 314-683-4013.
I hate annoying calls.  
They are calling me on my direct line at work.

I have been receiving several calls a day from this number (it is a fax). They call 3 times in less than 5 minutes and then wait about 9 hours and do it again. I sent them a fax asking them to stop and the calls are still coming.

I have rec'd 6 calls in the last hour.  WTF

They called 3 times and you can hear the beeping like a fax then it messes up my phone and almost shuts it off. How can I stop this?

the name on the caller ID says TALX CORPORATION--keeps beeping when I've answered the last four times, so far...

Me too, about 10 calls in an hour. All day..... calls and messages. How do they get our #s anyway?   There must be a way to make them STOP!!!!!!

Unauthorized calls from 314-683-4013

same here.  happened just now.  like 5-10 calls in a matter of an hour to my 1800 work number.  costing me money on the minute.  beeping sound.

I get faxes from this number. The Work Number is the name of the company. They send request to verify past employment, but they are for bogus "employees" Most recent one is for Elvis Presley.  I have sent several fax request to stop but hasn't worked yet.

Calls at my work several times. If you answer there is a beep like a fax.

I have received calls from this number for about 2 months, late last night around 1:30am the phone starts to ring and its a fax trying to come thru, it continues to call back every 15 mins for about 6 times, very annoying when you are trying to sleep. I would like to know who and why.

I have recieved 6 calls from this number so far in the last hour. When I pick up, I only hear slow beeps. Never leaves a message or says anything.

I have also received several calls from this number to my cell.  When I returned the call it is a fax.  According to reverse phone number look up and 1411 this is an unlisted number.  I decided to fax them at the number to request to be taken off the auto dialer.  It has been about an hour and no calls since.
