It is Verizon Wireless. They called me this morning and left me a voice mail. I am sure they use a local call center to make collection calls because my bill is past due.

received a call from 314-735-4914, however, did not recognize the number so did not answer.
no message left. i suspect it is someone soliciting votes for the election.

i have received 3 calls from this number...when I call back no one anwers.

Called almost twice a day by this number over the last week...just called about 2 minutes ago 8:30ish PM at night.

And for anyone reading this just because you are on the DO NOT CALL list, non-profit organizations DO NOT have to abide by the do not call list. This is on the FCC website.

Also you have to re-register your number every year I think on the DO NOT CALL list.

Called ID, and dont pick up on these unless you recognize the number...otherwise it will flag you for more constant phone calls.

Received this call on 10-17-2012 at 6:32 PM.  They left no message and the caller ID said it was from an Unknown Caller.

Had the same experience as JILL worried that they got me to say yes before they hung up

Creepy guy said my name when I picked up the phone and I said, "Yes?"...he said, "mmm that's a pretty name!" and hung up. Sounded really busy in the background with lots of other voices..call center?

received call from 314-735-4914.  sounded like they didn't know the call went through. background noise and someone asking if the bathroom was free and to put his name on the list.  very juvenile.

Call multiple times daily.  No one says anything, and nothing automated either, just dead air.   I am on the do not call list.  Irritated.

Juste received second call about an hour after first call - said Private Caller - no answer

Called, left no message. Since I'm in Virginia I've been getting a series of survey, and campaign calls and suspect this is another one.  It's just rude that there is no call back response and you can't opt out!

11:55 AM.  Calls, leaves no message.  A waste of my time.

I've received 7 calls from them in the past 2 days. I never answer their calls & they never leave a message. Some of their calls are literally minutes apart. A couple of people mentioned in an earlier complaint that it might be union related but I have absolutely no union affiliation at all, nor do I work anywhere there is a union. I also get called by 202-656-1162. I suspect these calls are election related so I'm really hoping they stop after the election. The candidates just don't seem to get it, if you p****off voters with these harassing phone calls they're not likely to vote for you.

They called me several times. Identified them as a political poll. When I told them the presidential choice was between puke and vomit they hung up.

First got a call from (904) 000-0000. They have called 3 times today. The third time I answered. Robo caller finally picked up and started her spheil.... Told her I was on Do Not Call so why is she calling me back again. She said she has not called me. Told her I have proof of her calls documented and ready to be sent to the feds. She immediately hung up. then one minute later I get a call from the (314) 735-4914 number. Called it back, get all circuits are busy. I will keep trying.

Two calls from this number about 15 minutes apart and two more calls, also about 15 minutes apart, one saying "unknown caller" with no number and one saying "private name" with no number. From the timing, I suspect the two calls without a number may also be from the same call center.

I have received 3 calls today from this number. When I answer they say nothing, & a few seconds later they hang up.

I truly hate unwanted calls. If I solicit a call, fine. If not, leave me alone!!!
Better idea for "political" things to think about would be a law which requires payment of my time and the cost of maintaining the means to be asked or told something I.e., my phone.
I will listen to your annoying calls for $100.00 the first five minutes. $25 a minute for every minute after. I think that's in line given I have to work long hours paying the mortgage and utilities related to providing my phone a nice environment to await your important call telling me my house payment is late by five days, or, even better, somebody in the homestead may be late on something. Of course they won't take a call. They are already aware of this heinous crime.  Meanwhile, you are so happy to provide no further information other than this is a ""courteous"" call. BITE ME!!
