I called them back and the message says it's a disconnected number!!!

wrong.. message says you have reached a # that has been disconnected or is no longer in service and then hangs up and yet it still robo-calls people.  What an aggravation.

They call everyday. I usually cant answer calls immediately, and have to call back numbers received. Calling this number I get the message,"This number has been disconnected and is no longer in service".  Next day they call again.  Does anyone know who makes these calls?

314-737-4549 continues to call my phone, which happens to be on the do not call list. I am sick of them calling multiple times a day!

I believe this is a company that will try to sell you a subscription to your local newspaper. When I did not renew my subscription about a year ago the calls started. I eventually block the number, have peace for a few months, then a new number starts calling! I am on the do not call list. Does anyone even pay attention to that list?? Even if I wanted to start up home delivery again I wouldn't because of their harassing ways. I'm so tired of greedy companies that think its ok to call any time of day to disturb people for a product they don't want, and know how to get if you do!!

Annoying as heck! they do no t leave a message.  Please make it stop.  If it is for a news paper, please get with the times! I don't buy paper newspaper.  I read it online!!!

I answered , lady said they wanted to send coupons and adds form my local paper Kingsport Times News at no charge. She  Verified name and address already had phone # of course. I told her send them while waiting for the catch. Didn't ask for credit card info or anything overly personal. She then has a supervisor come on the line and confirmed my info. VERY fast Very fast Very fast .... .She gave me phone number to times news ..Looked online right number . We will see I guess. I like adds and coupons don't however like these type calls and DONT make me want to take the paper ....

Receive calls from this number. Most annoying they call two or threetomes a day. My number is on the do not call list.  Make it stop.

I'm in Ohio, and I got one this morning. I cancelled my newspaper subscription a few days ago. I also subscribed through a fundraiser - mine was the Cancer Society. Must be a national call center.

Unfortunately it is a legitimate sales pitch from a subscription that you cancelled in the case of the Daily Oklahoman.   I called the newspaper and not the Promo Dept back and told them not to call me.

This phone number calls 3x per day and doesn't leave a message. PLEASE BLOCK THIS CALLED FROM MY CELL PHONE.

Lady tried to sell me subscription to DAYTON DAILEY NEWS. I had to made her understand I would NEVER SUBSCRIBE to the DDN...When I finish with her, I emailed a complaint directly to the DDN.

IF YOU ARE THE PERSON CALLING, TAKE YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR A$$ AND STOP CALLING WHEN YOU GET NO FOR AN ANSWER!  QUIT TRYING TO SCAM ALL THE PEOPLE OUT OF THERE HARD WORKING MONEY.  WHY DON'T YOU GET A "REAL" JOB AND WORK FOR YOUR MONEY AND YOU WON'T BE TRYING TO STEAL OTHERS!

These calls started last week.  Caller ID says PROMO DEPT.  I answered the 1st call, it was about getting my newspaper subscription started again, I was polite and said no thank you.  He still tried to sell and I kept saying no thank you.  Finally he got that I was not going to buy, phone call ended.  Then the next day they started calling again.  I blocked the calls and when I get on the internet to my phone company, I see they called about 8 times a day!  When I block calls a message says to the caller that this phone # will not accept your call!  Are these people stupid or what?  They keep calling, get the blocked message and still keep calling!  No wonder people have to get so rude with these callers, because they are so stupid that they can't get a message or remember that they called yesterday and you answered all their questions and said NO!  And do you think I am so stupid that I would give you my credit card info??  NO WAY!!!

Hacked?  Why? It's available from the FTC and is no secret. legitimate businesses purchase it at regular intervals in order to honor those on the list who do not wish to be called. And all of those millions of legitimate businesses, for whom the DNC was meant, are NOT calling you.  The reason you are getting more calls now is because the scammers and scofflaws at at their peaks in calling.  The DNC doesn't know what calls you want or don't want.  It is just a list and doesn't block calls nor does it immunize anyone from getting calls.  Anyone who wants to call you can..There's no blocker in the dnc.  It' is just a list with your number on it.  Why would any scammer or even business want a list of potentially hostile people who have signed up on a list that screams out "Don't Call Me!!"  Would they be better prospects and more receptive to getting bombarded with calls? If I were to hack or buy a list of prospects to enhance my profits with fertile and welcoming buyers,  I would want a list of sucker.  A list that would enhance my profit potential,  not diminish it.....
If the DNC does no good for you,  you can go to the DNC/FTC site, get the toll free number,  call it and opt out of the service.  Then you will be legal for some of those Millions of legitimate Businesses who are now NOT calling you because they are honoring the dnc, to start calling...in addition to all of those scammers and scofflaws who are now calling you.  You'd need to hire a secretary or answer service..

called at 8:35 p.m. left no message; I, too, am on the DO NOT CALL LIST - it does no good - seems like more calls than before registering on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Maybe that list was "hacked".
