Have received multiple calls from this number.  No voicemail and have never answered

Just got a call from this number, answered, no response followed by a disconnect. I called by to hear its been disconnected.

Probably solicitation. Maybe I should get the Blacklist app for the iPhone so I cant start adding these punk a** mutha fuckas to it.

Or like the previous user said maybe you can trace back the IP and then run a DOS attack on them. Muahahhah

Same call---did reverse caller ID on google as instructed by phone company came up as resident in Saint Louis,MO USA. Made a note with the phone company that this issue was discussed in case there are scam charges added to my phone bill.

Credit card questions... about a credit card I don't own!

Same deal - the number is no longer in service, 2 minutes after they called me.

I just got a call from this number. Tried to call back and it was a busy signal. Recently updated my info on Monster.com. Coincidence?

same w/ me...that the number was disconnected when i tried to call back missed call.

Nothing, when i try to call the number back it tells me that i have reached a number that has been disconnected or no longer in service. How is that possible if they just called me from that number?

Got a call from this number and tried to call it back, NOT in Service?  Been getting a lot of calls from numbers such as these and I have no credit cards!  Is there a way to stop these calls?

Recently started receiving solicitations on my cell phone.  This one told me that the interest rate on my credit card is too high.

Just got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago on my private cellphone. I didn't answer it and I will never ever give these pestering callers the satisfaction of me answering their calls. Everyday, we get so many hang up calls at home, too. We never answer our home phone. We screen it to see who'll talk on the answering machine. If we know their voices, that's when we'll answer the phone and if we don't..TOO BAD! lol. I have no idea how these people are getting our numbers. But, something really should be done about this.

I'll also list the following numbers that have called not only my private cellphone, but also my mom's cellphone as well. Anyhow, these are also numbers to be aware of: One number is I believe from the state of Chicago and the other is Arizona. My family and I don't know anyone with these numbers. So, I googled each of them and out came the same type of pages like this whereas it deals with fraudulent solicitors.

Received a call from this number (I'm in Bay Area, California), at 3:15pm PT on 4/24/2009. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Got the call this afternoon on the cell phone.  No message left.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. Did not answer since I didn't recognize the area code. I am in northern California. No message. From the other entries here I would this a suspect number for a scam. In the last few months I have received so calls from out of my area code with numbers I do not recognize.

Yes I got that call too. Weird huh? What I did after hearing the number I pretend that call wasn't there and not try to call them again. I don't know what they're doing or who they are. How did they figure put our numbers? We don't know...

got a call from this # several times on my son's Go Phone!  costs me .25 every time these bozos call.  how can I block it?

i didnt call this one back (definitely didnt pick up), but i notice that i get a group of wierd phone calls all within a few days of the month.  
i am guessing maybe some are computers, searching for live numbers to put on a list, to sell to annoying solicitors?

i am fine with tagging numbers as phone spam without even picking them up.  is there really any 'legit' spam?  LEAVE A MESSAGE, DARNIT!

Yea same story. Got a call try calling back non existing number. It could very well be what Dan said. VOIP call. I use the VOIP calling and I know when it calls someone, only a weird number appear on the receivers phone.

Called my cell phone 4-27-2009, no message. Reverse search showed it as landline, unpublished. Seems to be a scam of some sort.
