I just missed a call from that number this morning. Weird that we got all these right together.  I'm 832 area code.

Long silence.......hello.....hello..."oh hi, want to lower your credit card rates.......on & on. Happens at least once a week!!! Very annoying!!

Same thing happened to me. He left a message saying "hey Guys" and proceeded to talk about lowering my interest rate? I'm from ohio.

Mine was like this also, on my voicemail:

"this is the last courtesy call I will make." Then left an 866 number to be reached at.

I received a call from this number.  Did not recognize it and clicked off on my phone before I answered.

Same number! But I called back and apparently it was disconnected.

I got this call too. Actually this number has shown up on my phone and on my dad's. My dad never answered but I answered today and heard "hello" and then nothing.

Same thing... Got a missed call and voicemail saying, "oh hello-" then nothing but silence. oh well.

Just rec'd call from this number, silence, then barely audible hello (or something). Silence again, so I hung up and called back. Phone number no longer in service message! I am in NY.  :-P

I just got the same voice mail on my cell (in Minneapolis).  He said his name was Tim Johnson.

got it as well at 4:45 PM EST.  after i said hello, the guy said hi and there was silence...  i hung up

Same here - just an "uh hi" - probably a telemarketer trying to get his call # up? annoying waste of a cell phone minute~

yep, same thing, I'm in an ohio area, but moved from St. Louis recently, so was a little concerned. Glad to solve the mystery as a "scam"

I also got the 1/2 cut off message about lowering interest rates & this being the last courtesy call.

i am from Brooklyn New York. I got this call at 3:30 pm our time here.

Same thing here on my work cell phone # and the only thing ive put it online for was a free inventors package from inventhelp.com. Hope this helps anyone else getting this call

yea, like WTF. I get a call i reluctently picked up, said hello a guy said hello then silence. I said hello one more time 2 seconds of silence and i hung up...

I googled to see if I could find any information about this number and to my surprise I see that I'm not the only one this has happened to....I got this call as of 4:07 pm (EST) on Jan 19, 2010...It was a man's voice.

Received the same call in PA at a business.  Telphone number on caller ID shows up as 1-314-878-4450.  Left message regarding saving rates on credit card that they claim we spoke of earlier.  Our company has no credit cards.  When I called back at the 877 number, told them they had the incorrect number.  Asked me what my number was which I refused to give them and they hung up in my ear.  Scam!!!!!!!

I got the same call at around 230 I said "hello" there was a silence then a man said "hi" then another moment of silence then I just hung up. Irritating!

This number just called my Google voice account and left a VM.  I have blocked them but here is the transcription:

received a call from 314-878-4450 and upon answering just heard brief silence, then a hang up.

when i answered there was nothing but silence

Same here I'm in upstate NY (518) call to my cell, answered and got "Oh Hi"   long silence I hung up.

Just got the call as well. Caller said "Hi" and then silence.
