Wow!! So completely unreal.... Received the same email after signing up as a mystery shopper, thinking I was signing up with the British company, Retail Active. This guy "John M. Hendrick" posing as someone in HR from Retail Active. I fell for it until I received two money orders each in the amount $950. RED FLAG! Who sends out that kind of money before any work is done?? I just feel so bad for the people out there he or she is hurting....

Received this same secret shopper email, from same so-called company. Only the sender's name was Michael Schneider promising to send a $2,450 cashier's check---$250 to conduct a survey of Walmart, my bank and western union, $50 to make a purchase at Walmart, $200 to wire $1900 to a "relative". Wow! Too good to be true! They have people promoting this on LINKEDIN. Be careful!

The scammer doesn't really want whatever you're selling - he only wants your money.

Just received a text from the above number as well.  Wanting to have his mover pick up the item (drumset) and was sending a cashiers check.  I was not convinced it was legit so I decided to google the number.  Thank God I found this before he scammed us.  Someone has to stop this person.  

Using the name Gary Weinberg as well.  Must be out of the country as the cell service seems to be global voice.

The scammer is most likely in Nigeria or some other country and can't be touched by US laws.

Yep!  Got a text from this person today wanting to buy my saddle.. their text said from: terry Hamilton. So I guess they thinking changing their name will help?   Ugh. ... the poor people that fall for losers like this.. sad :(

Just texted me that he wanted to buy a saddle I have listed.
Read all the below and never gave him the opportunity to take it further.
Told him there was interesting info about him and his past Craigslist history and that the saddle was no longer for sale to him.

This piece of garbage just contacted me about my Drumset on craigslist, glad I checked the number. I would tie him up and pour gasoline on his hide, light a match, problem solved.

This guy also tried to scam me out of a saddle and money. I reported it online but received no response to my complaint. Now I get a text today that says this.

This person needs to be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Sure would like someone in law enforcement follow thru with transactions like this and lock some folks up.

i concur with the stories told above, this fella seems to have an affinity for drum kits, as that is what he tried to buy from me,  Also, he used the name Terry Hamilton.

Texted me about buying my saddle, said he moved from Grand Prairie Tex to Brooklyn, same story.  He wanted to send me a cashiers check and have his movers pick up my saddle.  Also used the name Terry Hamilton.  A***ole !!!!

This guy offered me a check to buy a drum set. He said he moved from Appleton, Mn. To.Brooklyn. N.Y. Little did he know that I moved from appleton, Mn and his name.or last.name.was not familiar. Appleton is about 500 poeple and everyone knows each other.

yep, tried me, do we report this to the FBI? or are they allready aware of this scam. and person he/they must have multiple counts to be charged with by now.

Who ever this person is needs to be caught. We have items for sale on craigslist and he did exactly the same thing, offered the certified check and have his movers pick up the items. This time he moved from Greenville, SC to Brooklyn.

He just about got me today. Damn, it was that close... Glad I googled him + Brooklyn. Found this site. Beware of him. Told be he just moved from Grand Prarie TX to Brooklyn, NY. Same story as above.
