same man calls every few days and typically just says, "hello" over and over.  this is a live person and not a recording.  he once left a voicemail for me saying, "i love you".  i told him i would call the police and he said it didn't matter because he was calling from a cell phone.  i asked him what he wanted and he said, "your identity".  i've contacted the police.

Some guy called from this same number today and said he was calling from new via telecom company. I asked for his info and how he got the number when my number is listed on donotcall list, he simply said have a nice day and hung up the phone. I am reporting the number at donotcall.gov as well.
