Live voice keeps calling from this number - they say that they represent 25 different companies and you have to ask 25 different times to be put on their so not call list.  FCC Do not call list does not phase them

i got calls from this number, they never leave a message.  I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER, which these people don't seem to think matters.  BIG SURPRISE.
 
last time when i got a barrage of calls from them -- a few months ago -- i called back and pressed #1 when prompted for "remove me from call list".

well,  I just did it again today.  apparently that didn't work the first time.  perhaps this time is the charm????  grrrr.  

third time, reporting to FCC

This number call a couple times a day, i'm not interested in changing my electric supplier.

I get calls from them every day also and they say they are trying to save me money on my utility bills. I waited to speak to someone today and when I asked who they represented, they said multiple companies. I told them to stop calling here and "Mike" hung up on me.

The company calling from 315-285-9983 is relentless, calling multiple times every single day, despite requests to remove our number, which by the way, is on the Do Not Call registry.

It seems no one else has found a solution to stop them, so I'm off to file complaints with every agency that will take them.

Last year, during the election campaigns, I paid $50 for a little white box called the Pro Caller Blocker". Best $50 I ever spent! Now, when I get one of these annoying calls, I bring the number up on the little white box, press "block", and never hear from them again, Go on a search engine, such as Google, and search "call blockers". There are a few choices. Pick the one you like, and join the un-annoyed.

They call at least 6 times a day from Clayton, NY and leave no message. Once waited till someone picked up and when rudely asked if i had my electric bill i asked who she was and she hung up.

Asked to be removed from list.  Received several calls since then.

I have taken the same approach with the callers who want me to give them access to my computer. When they called and I was 200 miles away with the computer turned off. I said, hold on, I have to go to the computer. After 5 minutes, I said - you are right! The computer screen is blank. A few minutes later, said, wait, it isn't turned on. Another 10 min or so, decided I wasted enough of my time and hung up. They called back and I let it go to the answering machine. Regarding this number, report them to the FCC. The link appeared in another post here. I am going to.

They call every night saying that they can lower my electric bill I have asked to be removed from the list they just hang up

Android phones have several apps that will block numbers - I assume iPhone does as well

Call came in Monday, 7: 48 p.m.,  info-Clayton,N Y 315 285-9983-we did not answer the call-it ranged  5 times-message kicked in for a response, and then the person did not leave a message.  We are not

I've been getting these calls over and over even though I chose to opt off their list.  Finally I decided to beat them at their own game.  I spoke to a woman and asked her to hang on as I was trying to find my electric bill.  I tried to find out which company it was.  Live Voice.  Nothing on the interwebs.  They represent many of the alternative electric provides.  I just need to hand over my acct number and I'd be set to go.  I asked for the supervisor's name.  She put him on.  I said I was very interested saving money but was concerned I didn't know who the company was.  No problem.  He's recording the call.  Yes, so how could I get a copy?  Blah blah blah blah blah.  After asking me for the tenth time if I were interested in the service I asked if they had to comply with the Do Not Call list.  No, because they don't sell anything.  If that's true, that's a big loophole but it's probably a lie.  I said "No, I just want you to stop calling me."  He was very annoyed. I could have just asked in the beginning.  (From previous posts, sounds like that doesn't work.) He verified my number and put me on the Do Not Call list.  Very annoyed.  Heh heh heh.

For weeks I've been getting hang-ups from this number. Just several hours ago I answered the phone, and a automated voice told me that I was eligible for a discount on my electric bill. "She" told me to have a copy of my electric bill ready, and to press 5. So I pressed 5, and was connected to a woman who said, "Do you have your electric bill ready?" I told her in no uncertain terms that I did NOT want to received any more of their calls. She said, "I'll take your number off the list. Have a great day," and hung up abruptly. A moment ago--another call. Pressed 5 and the very same woman I spoke to asked for my electric bill. I told her I would report her to the attorney general's office. She started chuckling, said "Have a great day," and hung up.

Will you get arrested if you tell them you are going to reach right through the phone anf grab them by the throat to get their attention ?  Just wondering,  got me twice today !!!!

I have also been harrassed by these people every day.  I just called the number back, and an automated voice said to "press 1" if you would like to be placed on the 'do not call list'.   Hope this works, we shall see!!!

While out for a few hours, today, I received three phones calls from 315-285-9983. They didn't leave a message, just hung up on my answering machine. On my caller ID it says "Service Customer".  I can't believe my phone, that I pay $65.00 per month, as become an free-for-all to annoying worthless phone calls. I once asked Verizon, if I could block certain numbers on my landline phone and they said no. I can block and reject phone numbers on my Verizon Droid cell phone, so why not on my landline?

IF this something to do with lowering you electric bill. My mother has been dealing with them for months. She doesn't have Caller ID. They will not stop calling her and her electric bill is paid by the landlord. This harassment should not be aloud!

Company is "Live Voice". Caller ID "Service Customer". Said they are working "with" National Grid to find discounts for electric bill. Have received this call several times even though I am on the Do Not Call registry.

Annoying. This telemarketer seems to have scruples or desire to comply with the do not call list. Unfortunately, since the federal gov't is so understaffed due to budget cuts that these @##$^ feel they can get away with this male bovine feces. Does anyone really fall for their garbage?

Every flipping day.  Always at work so always a missed call on my home phone.  I am on the no call list but apparently that is no help.

Thsi number from Clayton, NY already marked at a low spam level. The CID is "Service Custome" and there is no message left so it is some kind of Telemarketer.

Keep getting phone call lately, every day, never home usually, but no message left on answering machine. From Clayton, NY , usually right after 4pm.

I get a phone call each day from this number asking to review my phone bill. I held one day until a person answered. I asked who I could speak with to be removed from their call list, she hung up on me.
