My caller ID states that 315-436-66239 is a cell phone in NY. It is just another call to get
you to give the caller your personal information. Don't do it. It is a scam. Don't even
bother answer your phone. Shut off your ringer when you are resting and let all calls go
to your message box. Then you can call back the people that you really want to speak
to and ignore these scam calls. I give my loved ones my private cell phone number and I
don't give that number to anyone else. If I don't answer my home phone, my loved ones
will call my cell phone.

Unsolicited robo-call claiming to be Credit Card Services and offering to reduce credit card rates
belynda5 2011-03-18 21:55:35 Unknown
I have been getting these '' this is Rachel or whatever the name of the day is'' about lowering my credit card debt. Now it's getting creepy. They are calling with a number that is one digit different from mine. That number belongs to a piano tuner in town. How can they hijack others phone #? If I ask they hang up and call again. Called 3 times today.

This is a scam. They are trying to get your credit card information. Do Not Call Registry will not help you, these are criminals. Report the number to the FTC and your local FBI agency.

I got a call from this # 315-436-6239, claiming to be "card services" (such a generic name!) offering to consolidate credit card debt. I could tell it was a scam, and when I asked for more info about their company, website, & how to contact them, she hung up on me!
StopCallingme 2011-02-07 12:55:56 Unknown
The simple fact that they are using cell phones to call is a red flag and proves it is a scam. No valid credit card company will call using cell phones. Stop wasting time with these jokers and report every single call.

this has to be a scam, I keyed #1 for get a cust service person. They hung up (2x) when I started asking whom they were. I am going to report them to my states Attorney General, for a class-action suit.

Someone keeps calling from this number and when I answer there's never anyone there. Called it back and says it's been disconnected.

Got the call too. Dialed 1, listened to whole speel about lowering my credit card debt (dont have any). Told them I was unsure of what to do (played really dumb). They give a hard sale pitch. Told them they needed to send me information. Gave them the address of the my states Attorney Generals office. LOL
Nils 2011-02-04 23:45:04 Unknown
They didnt leave any name/information.
When I returned the call, I first got: "The mailbox is not set up." now I get: "The mailbox is full and can not accept any messages!!"
Ruf 2011-02-04 21:57:04 Unknown
?Just answer the call and waste their time?
Ignoring the calls guarantees that they'll call you back.

Here's a novel idea...answer the calls and waste their freaking time.
If you ignore their calls, their auto dialers just call you back again and again.
Make the low-lifes answer and bull$hit them for along as you can..this cost them money.
Remember, if they get one whiff that you're trying to BS them, they'll hang up....so be creative and get even.

I keep getting calls from them. I have gotten to the point to where I just tell them to touch my p***s and they either respond or hang up...it dont help anything but it makes me laugh...lol
Im on the national do not call list and have reported them but yet they are still calling me...
I think I'm just going to have to get more proverted with them...

I get continued unwanted computer messages from this number with them wanting to consolidate credit card debt, etc...they call themselves credit card services. I am also on the national no call list, but I can now assume this doesn't help anybody. These phone calls have been going on for years. Hopefully someone can put a stop to it.

This number comes up as a wireless number---someone calling from a cellphone.. I have reported this to my attorney general here in Florida.. Whatever state you live in, make sure you do the same.. If they get enough calls for harassment, they will delight in doing something about it. They love to shut down these kinds of businesses and report them to the media....

Same call to my home. Message says final call to reduce my interest rates on all of my credit cards and they have sent multiple notices to my residence. They do not disclose the name of the company. Press 1 to speak to a rep. So I pressed one. The out of breath rep answered and asked if I pressed 1 to reduce my interest rate or if I pay off my balances in full each month. I told her that she was a wireless caller, and she hung up.

Also a legit credit card company is not going to use a cell phone to call you with.
Sandra 2011-02-04 16:16:57 Unknown
The same caller here.
CrooksKeepCalling 2011-02-04 15:29:32 Unknown
They use a new cell phone number every day to call. Yesterday they used the number 502-718-8814 to call with.

I was just called (8:18 pm CST Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011) by "Card Services" for the umpteenth time but this is the first time from that number. Like another caller, I used to live in -and am originally from- that area code (many, many years ago). I've been getting some version of these calls for three or four years, in off-and-on spurts -sometimes once or twice a day and sometimes months between.
According to MyCallBot, this number ranks 7th overall in number of calls placed nationwide, at 21,000/day. It's a cell phone number with New Cingular Wireless, according to Intellius.

Got the same call, if you are as frustrated as I am, go here to the National Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint. We get enough people to do this, it might actually stop.

Salut, stick it to these Jack Wagons.

when you get these "we can help you with your debt" -- just explain to them that you follow Dave Ramsey & that you have No Debt. I did that last night & she started stammering around & finally hung up! ;-)

i just got this call as well with the same msg. i waited and hit "1" and got a rep that said "thanks for holding, did you press '1' to lower your rate?" "no, i pressed 1 to tell you to stop calling me" then they hung up. jerk.
