Got the same exact s***. I posted an ad and received a really badly written sms. Googled the number and ended up here.

"Funny" story, I got the same kind of scammer 2h ago for another one of my kijiji ad. Sent a stupid fake paypal email. People really fall for this?.

yes I was selling my acer on craigslist I was asking $279 she offered $300 plus $200 shipping and Linda rail contacted me sent me fake emails from paypal saying they needed a tracking shipping number before i got my payment so i decided to do research on paypal scams and look up her name she uses the phone number 334-245-3154 with me saying she's buying the computer for her son and gave me a address Anderson Mayer 16 Alhaji Olatunji street city: Ijeshatedo Legos 23401  she harrasses me by txting daily to hurry and send the computer but I've caught on and she's not getting crap.

Just received mails wanting to buy my IPad, for there son, came in with a low ball offer & I said no this is the cost or go to the apple store & purchase, they agreed & asked for my Paypal & etc.

Same here... just had an offer via text to ship a computer package to his/her son... didn't mention the West Africa part until the end. S/he asked how I'd prefer to be paid, and I said email money transfer (through online banking), and then s/he suggested Paypal. Something didn't feel right, so I Googled it... glad I did! Thanks everyone.

also contaceted me and offered an extra $200 for shipping to west africa for hi fiance that was just poseted there. says he lives in edmonton but is away on a buisness trip with a new york number. asked me to use pay pal but i refused and said i would need a bank transfer and bank verification before i would send it. never heard back

This person sent me a text saying they would send 900$ for me to ship an iphone 5 to Nigeria.
Complete BS. Don't trust this number, or sending to Nigeria.

Same thing here, texting to offer to buy my item.  Good thing I googled the number.  These people should be ashamed, really.   Don't be fooled.

Same here been receiving texts all night, with offer of full payment plus shipping for my laptop. we should all text back saying we reported the number to the FBI

I got the same message when i posted on KIJIJI for a watch i was selling, except this time it was a different name with the same number she claims to be LINDA RAIL , and wants to send me payment through paypal and for me to send the item, she even offered me a higher amount that what i was requestion. I have flagged this issue to the police, some people need to really get a life.   her email is linda.rail@yahoo.com , her or him not sure.

yes same thing happended to me, googles his number and found this. THANK YOU ! did not stop texting me for 2 days and got angry when I did not reply
